On the way back to Vancouver we took the Rocky Mountaineer again! We arrived in Kamloops from Jasper and ate in the hotel at Romeos Kitchen+Spirits at the Coast Hotel Kamloops
We were so happy to find out the chef is Pinoy and the place is even named after him. We were hoping to meet him but he was out.
Chef Romeo knew at an early age that his calling was creating in the kitchen. He worked his way up through the kitchen ranks earning his Red Seal Certification, and has received praise and respect along the way. Since arriving in Kamloops from Vancouver, Romeo has received a number of impressive accolades including wins at various Master Chef and Iron Chef competitions and most notably, he was recently featured on The Food Network’s inaugural season of Chopped Canada.
