NO METAL SHANKS
Unlike most shoes, Allen Edmonds are madewithout rigid metal shanks, allowing the foot andleg muscles to exercise and relax properly. The shoeflexes and molds to the foot.
SOLES
Made of select leather, Allen Edmonds soles allowthe shoe to flex naturally as the foot does. AllenEdmonds also uses Dainite all-weather soles toincrease traction and Vibram® rubber soles on somecasual styles that provide lasting wear andcomfort.

CONTOURED LASTS
Allen Edmonds uses special lasts that moreaccurately conform to the way the human foot is formed for a custom fit. Pressure points on thefoot like the big toe, the ball, the outside arch and the heel are relieved by our carefullyconstructed lasts. It is important that AllenEdmonds shoes be fit properly using a Brannockdevice. Customers should try shoes in severaldifferent styles to select the last or lasts that aremore appropriate for their feet.
LEATHER VAMP LININGS
Leather linings in the vamp and a cotton doubler promote breathability ofthe foot in the shoe
and help control moisture and temperature. Allen Edmonds shoes have lapseam stitching on the
linings for a smooth, comfortable surface.
CORK INSULATION
A cord layer between the insole and the outsoleallows each foot to form its own uniquely shaped footbed for real custom comfort. The foot actuallyforms an imprint which cradles the feet.

From our home on the shores of Lake Michigan, Allen Edmonds has grown to the point that now we have stores spanning the country from coast to coast as well as across the world. Staying connected to all these locations means lots of traveling, which is why we’ve created our new Road Warriors Comfort Technology. These shoes are the ultimate in travel footwear thanks to the EVA outsole, made with lightweight foam rubber, and four layers of shock absorbing technology, both of which provide the comfort and support you need to keep yourself and your job moving forward. Furthermore, not only is this slip-on style with a double-gore instep easy to slide on and off at airport security but the larger toe box also allows for the foot expansion that comes with frequent flying. The MKE features an understated moc toe design that highlights the fine finish on the calfskin leather for a look that’s versatile enough to be at home anywhere the road takes you.
Strandmok
Want timeless Strand style but with that vintage look you love? We’ve reinvented the Strandmok to give you just that. Crafted in the USA, this six-eyelet balmoral is now outfitted with burnished nubuck, a material with tons of natural oils that allows the leather to patina and fit specifically to your foot the more you wear it. The split reverse welt not only provides extra stability but also gives these shoes a wider, more masculine profile, making them a great alternative to boots when the weather turns chilly and you want to hit the town. Other new touches include the studded Dainite rubber sole and heel to protect you from the elements and a Poron insole for extra cushioning. Of course, the artisan elements you love about the Strand, like the captoe, perfing and pinking, are still here, so that the new Strandmok is a fresh causal shoe with a traditional lineage whose time has finally come.

Strand
The Strand is Allen Edmonds CEO & President Paul Grangaard’s favorite style! The relationship began in the early 1980s when, as a newly-minted banker eager for overseas experience, he had the good fortune of being transferred to Frankfurt, Germany. Given his age, inexperience and the language challenge inherent in the job, he was looking for a “credibility-enhancer” and some needed gravitas. So he bought his first pair of this distinctly American version of the classic senior executive’s cap-toe brogue. When he became head of Allen Edmonds in 2008, Paul made sure they were one of the first styles reintroduced in the Timeless Classics Collection. Built on the 5-Last, these balmorals are full of personality, thanks to an array of impressive perforations plus a striking medallion on the cap toe. Perfectly complementing its design elements is this model’s orderly and architectural form, which effortlessly conveys an air of achievement as well as refined elegance. This means, just as it did for Paul, that when you put on a pair of Strands, you’ll elevate your game at the same time.
Carlyle
Just like our Park Avenues, the Carlyle Hotel has a long history with American presidents. Though this new six-eyelet balmoral hasn’t yet achieved the fame of its cap-toed forerunner, its name signifies the fact it has just that kind of potential. Already being called an instant classic, the understated handsewnwhipstitching coupled with the burnishing on the toe allow the style’s great lines and impeccable calfskin to shine. The 108 last design, which features an elongated, tapered toe, gives this dress shoe just the right amount of attitude making it perfect for the modern executive that is considered a success but still feels like he has something to prove. Finished with a regular welt, single leather sole and regular heel, the Carlyle instills confidence when you walk into any office, oval or otherwise.
Cavanaugh
Whether it’s money or style — change is good. That’s why we took our traditional beef roll pinch penny and gave it a broader toe plug. The result is a contemporary loafer with artisan touches that will have you looking like a million cents.
Schreier
Maybe it’s our Midwestern roots, but we like it when folks agree. That’s why we were so happy that everyone loved our Cavanaugh loafer, and it’s why we’ve taken that same design and given it a slightly new look. By adding a double tassel we’ve heightened its already harmonious contours that come from pairing the broader toe plug with the slightly shorter vamp. Also in perfect balance is the intricate handsewn construction of the upper and the durable Butyl leather sole—both of which allow for added flexibility in terms of form and function. The only problem is, when you factor in the versatility provided by premium calfskin leather, that not everyone can agree if this loafer should be worn sockless for a contemporary vibe or complemented with socks for a classic feel—but for our money they’re both right.
Academy
A new member to our Dress Casual Collection, the Academy is a study in versatility with a double major in style and comfort. Dress it up or dress it down, this plain toe oxford looks right at home at work or play. Handcrafted in the USA and made of fine Chromexcel leather from Horween with a double Butyl sole, the simple styling is reminiscent of your casual school days and looks great with jeans or chinos. This Academy is sure to win its own award.
Alumnus
The cool, causal vibe of a college campus influenced the design of this modern yet classic wingtip. Made with Chromexcel leather from Horween with a stacked leather heel and sole, the Alumnus has a contemporary look that works great with jeans or chinos.
Neumok 2.0
One of our most popular styles is now even more so. Version 2.0 takes our Neumok wingtip with its classic Allen Edmonds brogueing from heel to toe and ups the style even further by adding seven on-trend colors for fall. The black and brown are made in soft kudu leather while the grey, green, navy, orange and red are all offered in Chromexcel. They all have a whiskey colored side wall that adds richness and texture and shows off the natural properties of the welt and sole leathers. Choose your color and how you want to wear them, on the weekend with jeans or with chinos in a business casual environment.
