What an experience to walk through the medina and imagine life inside a walled city. Our hotel is in the edge of the medina so we had to go inside to get to our restaurant for dinner. The restaurants can arrange for a guide to pick you up in the hotel and guide you because it is hard to get around if you don’t know. For sure you will get lost! We came for the Meshoui ( 7 hour roasted lamb)
but the Volibulis roasted chicken cooked the Ancient Roman way was the winner. The marinate and sauce is so uniquely Moroccan
