During Girls Trek, this lady sat beside me in the van to our trek and it was instant friendship 🙂 She started out by telling me she was a Vietnamese refugee and for 7 days in the boat she had no food & water but survived and landed in Palawan ( Philippines ). She lived there in the refugee camp for a year til she was sponsored by a relative to go to the USA. Her husband was a childhood friend & their parents who were friends told them to take care of each other. That was in 1988. Hao and Lisa Lam have been married for 25 years & live in Seattle. Hao wrote a book and it is now available in Amazon. Though I know quite a bit, i am excited to read more and get to know them more personally. Hao is scared to go back to the Philippines but we are changing that. 🙂 Super LOVE this couple instantly – we are so alike in so many many ways. Spine problem :-O , exercise routine Water therapy, ages of kids 23 and 19 and 22 and 18, two boys, almost the same wedding anniv -25th last year and this year for us, and same itinerary in Australia. They now are successful with their own tutoring company called @bestinclass_edu They have 60 all over the USA and growing. It not only tutors Math but reading and writing. What an amazing couple who came from bad to worse and now are the BEST in class! Hao in fact is such a humble and generous person giving his time to help and mentor entrepreneurs in EO @entrepreneursorg He told me it’s his way of giving back since many have helped him get to where he is now. Lisa loves EO too and now is an active spouse. Even their son Albert is in NextGen EO – so they are an EO family #entrepreneursorganisation#h2hpeople #h2heo #h2heoabf#h2hgivingback #h2heducation We had a nice dinner in the Gold Coast with fresh seafood
