The spirit is the principal agent of the mission – the one that gives us that sense of unity and being together tonight as the VD community – we give thanks for the different members and the different tasks of each one. no one is doing this mission alone. We work together. Some of us are studying, some are in formation, some working for the poor but all working together. It’s like a symphony, different notes but when they are all played together you get that tune. Each one of us has to be faithful to that spirit. We have to be faithful to that spirit And do our part but not as soloist but as a symphony. “Sym” is together and “phonos” is voices. We all do our part in this mission.
