She partnered w/ Brgy Capt Carlito Cernal of Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong who had a long-standing project called “Palit-Basura”
The idea is for residents to cut up foil packages into tiny pieces & fill up sacks to submit to the barangay in exchange for food, cellphone load &
other items for online classes. The cut up foil is then “cooked” into material that can be used for construction materials.
Overall project is meant to:
Reduce trash/save environment
Prevent clogged drainage/flooding
Prevent dengue/leptospirosis
And…during the ECQ, keep residents at home & busy.
