Starbucks Philippine Wildlife Collection for WWF

Today, Starbucks Philippines released the Philippine Wildlife Collection focusing on some of the country’s most endangered species. The collection includes a series of Bearista Bears and mugs featuring the Negros Bleeding-Heart Bird, Tamaraw and Palawan Forest Turtle.

Negros Bleeding-heart Bird
Endemic to the islands of Negros and Panay, the Negros Bleeding-heart Pigeon takes its name from the narrow orange stripe found on the bird’s breast.
Conservation Status: Critically Endangered

Tamaraw
The Tamaraw is the world’s rarest and most endangered buffalo species endemic to the Philippine island of Mindoro.

Palawan Forest Turtle
The Palawan Forest Turtle is endemic to the island of Palawan in the Philippines and one of the most endangered turtle species in the world.
