One of the most memorable parts of my childhood was the times we were asked to model for fashion shows and print ads. Lola was smart – she didn’t hire anymore she just used her grandchildren to pose, We enjoyed doing it with our cousins and siblings and other children of family friends. It was no coincidence ( there are no coincidences ) that on Mama Mary’s bday, Sept 8, last year I decided to join the 5 pm rosary of San Antonio @ssapnewstoday instead of my usual 9 am. In the 5 pm group was Tita Margot Perez, the mom of my good friend Marianne @mmph1230 . I asked them to pray for my stomach & Tita Margot asked me if I wanted to do the novena to St. Joseph and immediately I said yes. It’s a novena you pray for 40 days & not only did I do it, but I asked my Dad, Mom, my husband, my sons & my sister to pray it also for me! haha!! Good idea right? Tita Margot has a super serious devotion to St. Joseph. She has a nice collection of St. Joseph. Tita Margot has one from her Mom, her grandmother & the mom of her aunt, and from a man who needed money. Those are all not coincidences for sure that St. Joseph was given to her. I accepted St. Joseph coming to me and now he is also one of the saints I go to and pray to. I also have my sleeping St. Joseph . Like mother like daughter like granddaughter, Like Tita Margot & like Marianne who said that we should start our kids young like how she started her daughter Bea! All having a devotion to St. Joseph. Marianne @mmph1230 is my partner in crime in spreading the devotion to St. Joseph. We printed more copies and we leave them in chapels and other areas. We went to dampa for lunch yesterday because I saw @chefjayps feature on tempura by @hueyying06 ! And because the hubby loves tempura I treated him. He’s so picky about tempura & he loved it!!!! I liked it too because of the extra crunchy crunch batter. Fresh prawns for P360/ half kilo & P250 cooking charge for 1/2 kilo = P 610.00 for 14 pcs prawn tempura. Yum yum! We tried to go before lunch at 1045am but there were already quite a number of people. So i guess everyone is trying to beat the crowd plus it was a saturday and holiday.
