Some Travelling Tips

On this trip, I put together some tips 🙂

Put something on your luggage so you can spot it right away without looking at the luggage tag.  Putting red ribbons are very common already.  I liked what Tita Ina did with their luggage – she put red pom poms 🙂

And she sent me pink ones for mine! Yipee! Thank you Tita Ina!  pink-pom-poms.JPG

When we arrived in London last September, I got my luggage and was shocked to see it melted with a hole!!!!

Many things inside were damaged and burned.  I took photos and emailed them proof.  They wanted me to give them receipts for these items but how could I if these were bought long time ago

We reported it to the airlines in their counter and got this slip so we can claim from the airlines

Make sure to keep the luggage tag from the airlines

Someone called us in our hotel and we coordinated the replacement.  They were not able to find the exact same model of Rimowa that I had so we got one ourselves and kept the receipt

Also when in Europe, don’t forget to claim back your VAT

Just shop shop and shop and just send everything by Balikbayan Box, there is an LBC in every major city 🙂
