We did the city tour of Dumaguete and visited the important landmarks.
Rizal boulevard. It’s so clean and so orderly. There is no smell
Sisters of St. Paul of Charities
Nice 🙂
There is this portion where they have tables and chairs and food vendors
Siliman University
Beautiful trees
St. Catherine of Alexandra Cathedral ( Sta. Catalina de Alexandria )
Belfry Tower
Stores selling religious articles
Beside the Belfry Tower is this very nice area with flowers. They are not just flowers but it is a Waste Treatment plant to filter the dirty water from the public market before it goes back to the ocean! What a great initiative!
Rizal Statue at Quezon Park
Our Mother of Perpetual Help Parish which has a beautiful mosaic tiled image in the front of the parish.
The mosaic tiles are even numbered and come from Italy

Negros Oriental Highschool founded in 1902 by the Americans
A few minutes away from Dumaguete we visited the San Agustine de Hippo in Bacong- the tallest bell tower in the province built in 1863 housing the more than 100 year old Pipe Organ
Pipe Organ which is more than 100 years old and made with metal from Zaragoza, Spain in 1894 for P 8,000.00 but repaired in 2007 for P 1.7m
And the gang is all complete – 5 families totalling 26 ( including 2 yayas ) 🙂
