Once again I find myself blessed to have attended another Degustazione with Carla and Gaita!
This time it was held in the new Ascott Hotel in Bonifacio Global City. It just opened this year and they have 220 rooms with 26 floors. They are almost complete and are already finished up tot he 20th floor
We had cocktails first by the poolside of the hotel at the 7th floor
Rick de Jesus F & B Manage of Ascott and is the maker of the yummy MUDGE cookies!!

Walter Lim who is part of the family that owns Ascott BGC. They own Benson too which explains the Benson store in the building. They also own Walter Mart and I am guessing they named it after him 🙂
Then we moved indoors to Alta – the restaurant of the hotel and which is managed by Gaita. They have a ballroom which you can use for events as well.
Recipes from two cookbooks were served for dinner.
The cookbook by Giancarlo Fre is not even for sale anymore
It was a superb meal!!! Thank you Carla and Gaita for having us
