I’m so happy I had the chance to meet Mrs. Kamela Seen and her daughter Kreme. Owners of Plato Wraps @platowraps

A 15 year old company with now with 58 stores 17 of which are still company owned. After 5 stores they franchised out and grew to 58. What’s interesting is that they are based in Dagupan. They are in the bakery business and they have 6 Panderia Antonios which started in 1998. Mrs. Seen told me that when they opened their Bakeshop people were lining up for their chicken wrap so she gave it a try and opened in Manila 2 years after. I dug even deeper and found out that her husband is the baker behind the business. Listen and find out why from Mrs. Seen herself.

They now have 135 employees in their commissary in Dagupan and they deliver to Manila every week their products for their stores! More power to the Seen family and @platowraps  #PlatoWraps #platowrapsat15 #H2HPeople

Second generation joining the family business and updating the brand image.   The colors used to be red and blue and now it’s green.  I was happy to find out that Kreme used to work for Rustan’s in HR. She told me that after college she worked outside the family business but then later on wanted to help her parents. So nice to see family businesses growing and successful at what they do #platowrapsat15 #PlatoWraps #H2HPeople

Chunky Chicken is the reason @platowraps was born. It is the bestseller among the wraps. Mrs. Kamela Seen called it Plato Wraps because their bread was round and shaped like a plate.  So it’s a “plato” which they made into a wrap and wrapped different yummy fillings. They are going to develop healthier variants in the future to give health conscious people more options. Happy 15th year anniversary to @platowraps #PlatoWraps #CrunchyChicken

PlatoWraps. You’ve probably seen it—in the mall, in your school, in a cafeteria. It doesn’t make your heart skip a beat like your crush, but it is that reliable friend you can count on for delicious comfort. Every single time.

For 15 years, PlatoWraps has been quietly but assuredly serving value-for-money handheld meals to Filipinos on the go. When the family was given the opportunity to expand their bakery, they came up with something new for their customers. A true family effort, Tony Seen produced the flatbread that his wife, Kamela, decided worked better with filling. The plate-shaped sandwich was thus named Plato Wraps. From its first filling of chicken—a family recipe—Plato Wraps has launched a full menu, with Ham and Cheese, Plato Wraps (4)Yummy Tuna, Plato Wraps (2)Beef Gyro, Plato Wraps (3)and more. They also offer seasonal fillings, like Adoboritto, Cheese Pimiento, and Platopizza.

It’s never been a better time for this enduring and successful brand. With the abundance of dining options available, Filipinos have become more discerning about what they eat and PlatoWraps fits right into what today’s busy cubicle-dwellers are looking for—portable, affordable, and healthy.

They want food that is prepared fast without sacrificing the quality and taste, “says PlatoWraps Brand Manager Kreme Seen. That’s Plato Wraps to a tee.Plato Wraps (1)To celebrate their milestone and to keep up with the changing times, Plato Wraps has adopted a newer, more streamlined look. PlatoWraps’ fans will be interested to learn that they’re developing a chia wrap, as well as experimenting with fillings like bean sprouts and gourmet tuyo. The most exciting part? Plato Wraps will also come out with package filling and flatbread that customers can take home and enjoy at their leisure.Plato Wraps (5)A standalone store is also in the pipeline once the Seens’ nail a good location.
