There are 36 museums in Malaga. The most important of which is the Pablo Picasso museum where 80 years of his works are displayed. 
He was born here (1881) in Malaga and his wish was for his works to be displayed in the city where he was born. This was made possible by his grandson & wife Bernardo & Christine Ruiz through their donation. Located at the Palacio de los Condes de Buenavista in the old pueblo.
