Gadget for your Digital Camera

If you think Heart2Heart likes taking photos, I know of someone who really likes taking many many photos….but mostly of her favorite subject…THE LOVE OF HER LIFE… Gil!  🙂  and of course all their travels together.  I was always amazed at her photos because she and Gil were always in them.  Normally if you are only two- either one has to be taking the photo unless a kind stranger offers to take the photo.  Apparently, she has this gadget that she uses that takes their photo!! If you will notice, one of her arms is always extended  🙂

She was so sweet…and she shared her favorite gadget with me. Thanks Christine!!!

This was several months back when she gave it to me but I did not feature it yet because I did not know where it was available and Heart2Heart readers might ask where

You simply attach it to your digital camera like this:

But I was so happy to stumble into it in Japan Home Center for P 88.00.  They have different kinds.  I am sure this gadget will be found in more stores soon as I am sure it is becoming a popular tool

Rica, I think the one your friend gave you is a monopod while the ones being sold at Japan Home are mini tripods. The monopods can be extended while the tripods are limited to the length of the legs. I think lang ha. 🙂 But yeah, it can serve the same purpose. The monopods are available in Virra Mall.

Hey Rics! Hahaha. Was surprised to find this link on my FB.

Actually, in my pursuit to find where to get a steady supply of the monopod, I found the actual supplier (at least one of them) who brings them in and supplies retail. If anyone wants to buy in bulk, I can refer him. On retail, the last time I found it was in Digital Walker (Greenbelt 5).

On another note, there’s a version for your DSLR. It’s a bit bigger (ergo steadier) and heavier. So not as portable (leave in bag, portable) but serves the same function. Lemme know if you want one. Hehe.
