We did not leave HK without having our Xiao Long bao at Din Tai Fung! So we made a quick stopover at Din Tai Fung right before going to the airport just to make sure we ate there!!
So far, we have been to Shanghai and Hong Kong…for sure wherever there is a Din Tai Fung, we will be there 🙂

I had the chance to try DTF in Taiwan, where I think it originated. The lines were incredible (and on a lunch weekday too!) so I had mine to go. The XLB was superb.

Rics, just got back from China and after reading your blog on Shanghai, Din Tai Fung was one of my restaurants to visit. We loved it, in fact in Shanghai we went to two different locations one next to Yuyuan Gardens and another in the mall next to Xintiandi. There was one in Beijing as well but it was a bit too far for us. Now we are searching for good XLB here, any recommendations?
