Heart2Heart loves ROAD TRIPS! I definitely like it much better than airplanes! We are lucky to have a patient and very good driver
1.) We take along our good friend, the GPS, so it is very easy- no need to buy any maps and try to read them. And at any give point if you get lost, it will lead you back on track
Previous Entry: Never Lost May 2007
2.) It’s BONDING TIME for the family. Though the kids always fight and we get into each others nerves….we are forced to stay inside the car and just stay together and learn to deal with each other 🙂 At the end, we have fun and enjoy being together as a family.
3.) We are always on the lookout for these signs, hoping our favorite fastfood is in the next stop
We like to stop and have breaks in between……. and because of the breaks, the trip does not seem so long after all
We were actually lucky one time, we got lost or made the wrong turn and we ended up seeing a chinese take out place, so we got to eat our rice!! The chinese set meals come with so many things already for a very reasonable price
General Tso’s Chicken! 🙂
4.) There is lots of beautiful scenery on the way. In a plane you will probably see black scenery or clouds when you look out your window. In a road trip, everywhere you go is a different landscape and it is so beautiful. My favorite was this field of sunflowers! I have always wanted to see this…hoping I could have fresh sunflowers all the time in my home
5.) You can stop wherever and whenever you like
6.) Every trip is an adventure because you do not know where you will be passing and what you will be seeing or where you will have your next meal.

hahah! i love the picture of your “annoyed” boys!
Two reasons, they were fighting and second, they didnt want me to take their photo! haha!!
Were you in Chicago, because that was what the GPS says in the photo?
Hi TJ! No, not in Chicago. See next entry on our route of our road trip.
How funny! Love the picture of the kids. I completely agree with your philosophy about road trips. We just finished a six-week trip and it was amazing!
