Asakusa

After the Meiji Shrine and driving around the Imperial Palace, our last part of the tour of the day was the Asakusa shopping street.  This was our first time to go here.  It was a saturday and the street was jampacked!   I do not know if it was because it was a weekend but it was very busy.  But the shops are nice because they are all japanese items.  It’s like a market but it is very clean and organized.  We had only 30 minutes so just walking the whole street and taking photos was not even enough

Our first stop was this place which sells kimonos.  Dad likes the Jinbet which is very comfortable and uses as his lounging outfit at home

I could not resist, I was dying to try this and I love green tea flavor, so I had one.  It was so YUMMY!!!  And the girl told me that I cannot walk around and eat it and that I had to finish it in the shop.  Apparently I heard from a Japanese friend, it is not polite to eat while walking in Japan

I do not know what they are lining up for but it was some food stall that was really crowded
