Newton finally convinced us to go all the way to his side of town so we could see the new building of his friend, Bigboy!  

Well…..it was worth it!

Ronac stands for RObert and NAtividad Cheng who are the parents of Bigboy

You won’t miss the building in Ortigas Avenue

Meet Bigboy! So passionate about his love for art and everything in his building!

 The facade of the building is the morse code of the song Stronger by Kanye West! Cool! 🙂

The staircase is supposed to represent the springs of a mattress…afterall they own Uratex 🙂

Bigboy took us for a tour of the building through his wooden elevator 🙂

What a cool basement! It’s a parking lot

with two stores –Jagnus Design Studio and  Bunker and OBEY Flagship Store

The 2nd Floor is an Art Gallery and the future Uratex Premium Mattress Showroom which is still in the works, so this is just a sneak preview

The Third floor is called the Playground….

…..where there is a basketball court.  You can rent it out to play basketball or hold children’s parties or other private functions

The 4th floor is called the Deck

with hip shops that remind us of Japan

The ground floor is where Bigboy has his fun store called Secret Fresh

and restaurants Jozu Kin, Yoggle and the super popular and yummy

Charlie’s Grind and Grill

And in front of the building is a fun sculpture by Reg Yuson… Newton and Bigboy are talking to each other from one end to the other of the sculpture!  🙂
