There are two restaurants in the resort and Sangkar is the Indonesian restaurant. I do not know what people are saying that the food in Bali is not good, but we had very good meals at Sangkar. From the bar, it leads to the restaurant passing this beautiful bridge on water
Sangkar means birdcage which explains the birdcages on the ceiling! Beautiful!
Just like the other parts of the resort, light is minimal so I hope you can read the menu 🙂
Sushi and Sashimi
Ultimate Nasi Goreng
I love the way they serve the satay – it is on a mini grill on the plate and it was hot so the satay was warm until you actually eat it. And of course there are all kinds of Satay
Shrimp Satay
Pork Satay
Mixed Satay
Kobe burger! Love the presentation and it was really good!!!
Traditional Thai Green Curry
Hearts of Romaine
The F & B Manager of the resort, Carlos de la Bara
Heavenly Creme Brûlée!!!

Your gorgeous Bali photos are making me miss it so much! Were you able to visit temples like Tanah Lot, Uluwatu, or Bratan? And Ubud as well? I swear, Bali’s so picturesque your camera would’ve gotten quite the workout. The views are spectacular! I dropped the Bvlgari resort on the way to Ayana and it is fabulous. I miss Bali! Good thing PAL’s offering direct flights now.
