What I Learned from Lolo Benny

 My Lolo has many many witty, funny and also very intelligent quotes.  We are actually taking note of them.   Here are some learnings my cousin, Donnie, shared with us which he learned from Lolo.  Thank you M. Donnie for sharing this and for sharing this with Heart2Heart so we can learn as well from the wisdom and good heart of our Lolo

1. To be generous : to give of myself from both my scarcity and abundance.
2. To live life to the fullest in both good and bad times.
3. To run towards rather than run away from problems.
4. To have, pursue and realize big dreams. Not acting on your dreams will fill your life with regret.
5. To have a close relationship with The Lord.
6. To always be grateful; to always express my gratitude. Never forget to say THANK YOU.
7. To remain simple, humble, hungry to learn no matter how successful you become.
8. To always be a gentleman.
9. To never suppress the love I feel; to demonstrate and to show it not in words but in acts and deeds.
10. To be punctual, to be organized, maayos, and efficient.
11. To be inspired; and to always try and inspire others. To remain joyful inside; no matter what is happening outside.
12. To consciously uplift and enrich the lives of others; especially those in need that are immediately around you.
13. When you give, do not expect anything in return because if you expect then you are not really giving.
