Restored Chair

Aunty Remy was giving away her chairs and she offered them to me.  I was thinking of what I could do with it – maybe have Jia Santos Estrella paint them? 🙂  But I had an idea when I went to Antonio’s in Tagaytay and this is how it came out.  Yes, frustrated designer! 🙂

Here is the inspiration from Antonio’s Tagaytay 🙂

I had the chairs painted first then I had my upholsterer pick it up from the painter.  I spent P 1,200 per chair which includes already the materials and the labor.  I think it is really very reasonable.    I am including here the upholsterer I always use since I do a lot of restoration 🙂  His name is Clark and I promised him I would refer him to friends.  Cellphone #:  0943-386-03-66 and land line no. 212-86-13.

His company is Real Upholstery and he told me that he uses Uratex foam for his projects and I was happy because his father started off long ago in this business and was friends with the owner of Uratex who is the father of my friend, Bigboy Cheng 🙂
