Homemade pako salad- she said she just puts the pako in a strainer and pours hot water over it then adds the onions and tomato. And since she’s “OC” the onions and tomatoes have to be cut a certain way
I asked her how she marinated her yummy Chicken inasal – its Claude Tayag inasal which comes in a bottle and you can buy in the grocery. Yum!
LOVE the Cold handtowel idea in the tablesetting which smelled so good. She puts the colognes or perfumes that she can’t use. Which i believe is not offensive because you really tend to choose your scent sometimes.
Super love the crochet glass holder which can’t be bought anywhere 🙁 because it was made by a former maid. It’s so thick and so snug and looks so elegant. If someone can please copy and sell
Volvic which is mountain spring water is the best drinking water 
I like the slipper idea. In my future home im hoping to follow the Japanese home where they have an area before entering the home which has a cabinet to put shoes then you change into slippers and there’s a step before entering the home proper. That’s why i collect hotel slippers:-) I’m going to follow all these!! Lovegetting ideas from friends.

We are so lucky to always be part of a group or team that’s so awesome ! The parents do such a great job in making sure the kids train well and win ( haha!! ) Not to mention most of them are tennis players themselves! The past 2 weeks the parents organized training outside the usual training in school. Jean Henri got coaches and invited real life champion players to coach the kids – Felix and Derrick. Take note that our team doesn’t just have tennis moms 🙂 we have the best tennis dads! We love bonding with them at the same time the kids are training ( getting pressured haha ) Javs had to train on his bday and there should be no other excuse ! I have a funny story about a shoe ! A shoe that took 3 months to get to my friend. ! The shoe that went around the world !
My friend Jahn Jahn @katrina_jahnny asked me to get her a shoe in Tokyo last November. Apparently i got the wrong size. It was a good thing I went back to Japan and could exchange. It was a good thing we always had a friend coming home to Manila or leaving for LA!

Nov.9 Dropped shoe to Jahn Jahn’s Mom in MANILA to bring to LA
Nov. 19 Package received in LA
Nov. 28 Gave package to send back to MANILA through a cousin Amber going to Cebu ? who apparently is a good friend of my friend Jahn Jahn ( small world)
Dec.13 Received shoe in MANILA thanks to Margie @margiedino who went to Manila who received the shoe from Amber @amosmena in Cebu
Dec. 27 Exchanged Shoe in Hills Avenue TOKYO store
Jan. 5 Arrive in MANILA
Jan. 10 Sent shoe to Davao through my brother who was going to meet our cousin going back to LA ( OMG)
