We took our little black car from our villa to another resort Bleston Court – ( owned by Hoshinoya also ).  It snowed that morning we were leaving!!!  So nice!!!

Just truly beautiful!  First time for me to have high tea this way!  LOVE IT!!  They put animal skin on the chairs to make it more comfortable because it is very cold 🙂 You have to come early so you can get the best seat in the house which for me is nearest the river

 Mandarin orange which is heated in the little cooker 🙂  and Japanese rice tea  We were late so we get the worse seat in the house haha!!.  They provide blankets and hot pack warmers which you can hold or put near your body

 Skiing day today – New Year’s Day. We drove around 30 mins. away from our resort. There’s a nearer one about 5 mins away but much more crowded so we opted to go to the farther one. ( It’s artificial snow in this area of Japan. ) #karuizawa#h2hkaruizawa  We loved the food in the cafeteria there! 🙂

Though everything is very near each other and walking distance, because it is so cold, we took the car! haha!!  Just call the reception and they can pick you up from your villa and take you in the vicinity of Hoshino – only to the places within the map 🙂
 Harunire Terrace is a strip mall 🙂  which has quaint restaurants and shops!!  Super love it!!  I wish we stayed more days to try all the restaurants and cafes.  There are so many outdoor seating areas – so nice!!

So many people bring their dogs to show them off 🙂

We walked home at night from Harunire and the garden was magical with many christmas lights on the garden!!  The photo does not do justice to how magical it was.  Its as just so cold!
