Oro SF

After drinks, we walked over to Oro SF which is in Mint Plaza The leftovers of the wedding haha!! So happy we got together!! We had a nice dinner and we shared all our dishes YUM!! Lamb fat hummus! Squid, lemongrass sausage, squid ink potato, preserved lemon aioli Fried pigs ears – YUM!Roasted pork shoulder – we ordered three orders of this
But we wish we ordered more of this!! Kim ordered this and it was so good!!

Press Club SF

We were so happy to spend time with the new Mr. & Mrs. Chut Cuerva @chutster @kimm_stagram who just arrived from their honeymoon in Mexico. Drinks at the Press Club Love the place 🙂 They extended their stay in SF to be with us!!!! and to be able to relax in the city since they were so busy for the wedding. Love this couple! So sweet!!! Greg and June. June was my neighbor when we were kids and now in the States we are also neighbors. I used to visit her everyday. And until now I visit her. June is the sweetest ever!!!! She and her family are our family here too #H2HSFO #H2HPeople

I love her dates!! She removed the seed, cooked them with olive oil till a little crispy on sides and sprinkle sea salt. Shopping for Chairs at the Alameda Pointe Antique Faire

We accompanied Jose to the Alameda Pointe Antique Faire market and he had a mission! To find vintage chairs 🙂

There were quite a number of chairs around the faire Eyeing this one 🙂

Jose is the expert 🙂 He knows how to buy chairs to make sure they are genuine Last week we visited Jose and Tin in their home and we were admiring their chairs. It was bought by their parents in the 70’s. Jose rented a U Haul truck and drove to Alameda. He was a winner since he found the chairs he was looking for!! Saarinen executive arm chair by Knoll, Herman Miller desk chair by Eames, Wassily chair design by Marcel Breuer for Knoll, Paul McCobb coffeetable and Toledo steel stools. Alameda Point Antiques Faire

We woke up very early today to go to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire #alamedapointantiquesfaire which happens only once a month every first Sunday of the month. It was easy to get there since it was a Sunday. It’s held in a big open space by the Oakland port. Hundreds of cars park and so many stalls of antiques It’s from 6am to 3pm and there’s an entrance fee of $10.00 #H2HSFO You will really need a cart so bring one if you don’t want to rent See what I mean!! haha!! 🙂 You will see many kinds of people in the antique fair 🙂 Even those that dress up for the occasion they fit in so well 🙂Photo from my friend Lau who was there the same day! Love the outfit of this couple This gentleman is a vendor 🙂 he got mad at me for taking a papparazzi photo – he caught me haha!! I told him I was taking a photo of his shoe shine contraption which the hubby was eyeing! ATM – very handy! 🙂 Gucci shoes 🙂 Just many things to see and of course buy especially if you are furnishing a home! On the sides are food trucks 🙂

Wakuriya

We were so happy to finally dine at Wakuriya. There are only 2 Michelin starred restaurants @michelinrestaurants in the Peninsula. For the past 3 years we have been trying to reserve and it’s so difficult because it only seats 16 and they are always booked. You have to reserve a month in advance and call at midnight. It’s a good thing my hubby is very persistent in calling and because there was a cancellation for tonight we were able to dine! Chef Katsuhiro Yamasaki and his wife Mayumi moved from Japan to the Bay Area and opened Wakuriya in 2008. Chef Katsuhiro has 13 years experience in Japan and is a gem here. They are the only 2 people in the resto plus one staff. Mayumi is the one answering the phone for reservations and she’s also serving in the restaurant. We had a 9 course dinner. So blessed to have witnessed such talent. #H2HSFO #Wakuriya #Michelinstar #H2HChefs #H2HPeople We had a special dinner at a place we have been trying to dine in for the past 3 years and apparently they too have been wanting to dine here – Wakuriya. PPQ Dungeness Island

How come i never heard of this place? It’s a Filipino favourite apparently. Though they say Thanh Long still has the best Roast crab. Though I did not attempt to order that. I actually wanted to try the Peppercorn crab and it was yum 🙂

Love these friends of mine – Jose and Tin – they accompanied me to get my crab fix only to find out she’s allergic to crabs! Then they even treated us
