I received an update from a friend – Troy Bernardo @assyriansage Apparently he is now a yogi and has moved to La Union to live with nature. “I’m opening up @kurrent.ink Kurrent (a production house I co-founded: https://www.kurrent.ink/) to what we call Legacy Investors – people who want to leave their mark by supporting our advocacies.

Living in San Juan, La Union (yes, I gave up Manila for beachside living ), we have loads of advocacies from saving the seas to preserving the Pawikans, keeping the mountains forested to promoting renewable energy. etc. etc. So please feel free to share with, or send to, whoever feels right” I’m sharing this with you in case you need creative people to tell your story. Kalbichim & Chapchae from Arirang Korean

Finally we get to try Arirang Korean @arirangph Yummy kalbichim & chapchae by Tita Cookie Reyes Rojas. I like that the sauce of the kalbichim is separate and you just put upon heating. They started a few months ago and now going full force because many people have been enjoying it. No restaurant needed, just have it delivered to you in the safety and comfort of your home. Lunas sa Kahirapan – Giving Tuesday

Spotted Heart2Heart beautiful friend & JJH (Jun Ji Hyun) sistah 🙂 Nancy Irlanda @nancy.irlanda @nancyirlanda ( Director Land Bank of the philippines and Former ABSCBN – ANC Newscaster ) for helping out her neighborhood during this pandemic with her project LunasPH. She partnered w/ Brgy Capt Carlito Cernal of Barangay Addition Hills, Mandaluyong who had a long-standing project called “Palit-Basura”
The idea is for residents to cut up foil packages into tiny pieces & fill up sacks to submit to the barangay in exchange for food, cellphone load &
other items for online classes. The cut up foil is then “cooked” into material that can be used for construction materials.
Overall project is meant to:
Reduce trash/save environment
Prevent clogged drainage/flooding
Prevent dengue/leptospirosis
And…during the ECQ, keep residents at home & busy.

Casa Elmira Mamon

This is now my number one favorite – the best mamon ever for Heart2Heart!! Very light and fluffy and the topping is wow! My photo is supposed to show the layer of topping – butter & queso de bola – it’s a generous and yummy topping.
