I have been visiting Adora every week and last week the decor changed from Christmas to Chinese New Year 🙂  Chinese New Year at Adora (2) Diffuser at Diptyque!!!Chinese New Year at Adora (3) Love these Joyce Oreña necklaces Chinese New Year at Adora (4) It’s Chinese New Year but I am thinking Valentine’s 🙂  Chinese New Year at Adora (5) Chinese New Year at Adora (6) Chinese New Year at Adora (7) Chinese New Year at Adora (8)  I’m so at home now in Adora and even more that there are familiar faces. I bumped into Ms. Co ( Corazon) who I love ever since Rustan’s days. She worked in Rustan’s for 30 years, retired in 2005, then joined Adora in 2011. She started in 1975 in Rustan’s YoungVIP then she was promoted to Asst supervisor in 1979 then transferred as Supervisor of Men’s shoes then Cosmetics and Perfumeries. Then she became Boutique Manager for Cartier for 7 years then Store Div Manager of Cosmetics and Toiletries.
At Adora she was Area manager for prestige men’s and ladies and now she is CFL of H Stern. So this lady knows a lot and has handled all kinds of products. I love our people who remain loyal to the company and to the family. Look for her in Adora and you will love her tooChinese New Year at Adora (1)

Kit and Ace

Love this brand Kit and Ace @kitandace!  Comfortable basics/plainsKit and Ace (6)

 Kit and Ace @kitandace

“Shannon is married to JJ’s father, Chip Wilson, the founder of lululemon. During their time spent travelling abroad and living internationally, JJ and Shannon recognized a void in the luxury apparel industry. After spending years dressed head to toe in stretchy performance wear, they were looking for clothing that offered the same functionality but that met their desire for sophistication, style and luxury. Since they couldn’t find what they were looking for, they created it.

Shannon’s institutional knowledge and experience in product design teamed with JJ’s insights into fashion and retail have culminated into the vision that is Kit and Ace. Their plan is to deliver innovative products that provide comfort and ease of use to the wearer, while still offering the style and quality of the luxury brands they love.” ( Source : Kit and Ace website )

Kit and Ace (1)Kit and Ace (2) They always have this brochure which is their “The List” and here you will find their recommended spots to dine and entertain yourself in the area where the store is located. So since this is Burlingame, the list is for the Burlingame area and its nearby surroundingsKit and Ace (3) Kit and Ace (4)  Time is Precious. Love the shopping bags!
