I love the friends of my husband – Danny and his wife Rocelle and Alfie!! We have not seen each other for 3 years!!! Marco Polo Hotel Ortigas

A few weeks ago, we went to check out the new Marco Polo Hotel in Ortigas right across Meralco.  This opened only last July

On the 44th floor is a Chinese restaurant, Lung Hin, which is supposedly very good since they have a Chinese Chef Marco Polo Hotel (5)

A few Sundays ago, the cook of my Lola Charing, Julie,  cooked for us 🙂  Lunch by Julie (7)Lunch by Julie (2)Fried Chicken 🙂  Each house has a certain kind of fried chicken even though it is just fried chicken 🙂  We know when it is from Lola Charing, or made by Yaya Sion or Manang Caridad 🙂Lunch by Julie (3)I don’t remember this dish in my Lola’s house but anyway she made this 🙂  Prawns with GarlicLunch by Julie (4)Assumption Meat! YUM!!! 🙂  It is called Assumption meat because according to Mom, this was the dish that was always served in the Cafeteria or if you were a border at Assumption.  But I guess this is just tapadera.  I have not tried the one in Assumption, so for me, this is the BEST so far 🙂Lunch by Julie (5)
