There are quite a number of antique stores in London! We went to a few this trip. There’s also of course Portobello road
The Furniture Cave
I love antiques because they are one of a kind and they are surely made of good quality materials and something that is not being made anymore today or if ever it is, it will be ten times the price or more 🙂

The Silver Vault which focuses on sterling silver items. They are real vaults in the basement of a building. In the olden times they were used to store their valuables and were owned privately by families. They are now converted to stores selling antique sterling silver items. There are around 30 vaults in the basement of the building
This photo shows the main door leading to the vaults. No photos allowed so I took this shot before entering. Suharto thinks my Lola named Silver Vault after this though Silver Vault in Rustan’s is mainly jewellery 🙂 But who knows? 🙂
Wow!!! It looks so abundant down here!! And they are not cheap! 🙂
A sterling silver chess set in one of the vaults! With 18 karat gold on sterling silver, marble board and with sapphire, rubies and diamonds on the clothes of the king and queen. You need more than two people to carry this. It’s from the year 1900 and with price tag of 275,000 sterling pounds!

I noticed many go for the raclette but raclette you can have that easily by just buying the cheese etc. But this one is not easy to replicate! So I choose this!
Then I finally tried this! The famous Chorizo roll at Brindisa
And for dessert, this!!! SUPER LOVE! Organic Greek Style Frozen Yoghurt! Thicker, creamier and a bit tarty but sweet 🙂 YUM!

I really always prefer the window seat 🙂 but for another reason. But hoping to always try to catch nice photos from the window – these are beautiful! You just have to be there at the right time and at the right moment and then spot it

Another home store but this time more accessories and gadgets. Still in Marylebone High Street
In this store, Ria took me to the Aga section. No not Aga Muhlach 🙂 But Aga the ovens. According to Suharto this is the best oven in the world! 🙂 Let’s not forget that Suharto lives in London and lives, thinks and act like a British! 🙂

My friend, Ria, took me around to different home stores in the city. One of them was the Conran Shop which I thought was American since I see these stores in the States but apparently it is British, though they have the most stores in Japan
We went to their main store in Marylebone and photos are not allowed so I had to sneak these photos so bear with me
They had a restaurant inside the store called Conran Kitchen! Love! We did not eat here but just love the design of the place

We were window shopping in Harrods in different departments and James sends me a photo of this lighting fixture which he knows I like!! So I went to where he was to take a look
Then I saw more things which looked very familiar to me!! I liked the style
Apparently the designer is Timothy Oulton who is one of the artisans of the store Restoration Hardware which I love in the States!! So it is a British designer behind many of the beautiful things at Restoration!
That was the bed section and we asked where the furniture was and so we went to the furniture section! NICE!!!

Love the column made out of books
Love how they put the British flag and the flag colours on the design! Can we have our local designers do this for the Philippines? 🙂
Loved this wall which was behind the cash register!! It’s a collection of different blue and white antique plates taken from different flea markets and put together here on the wall! It’s for sale at Timothy Oulton
