On November 1,  most restaurants were closed since it was a holiday.  So you can rely on hotel restaurants to be opened on holidays and Heart2Heart is so happy that Mom chose Inagiku in Shangri-la Hotel Makati!  They had a Japanese buffet which is only during holidays and weekend lunches.  I have been hearing about this from my son, Jaime, who goes with his friends, but this is our first time to try it.  It has been ongoing for a little more than a year they said.  My Mom and I were talking and we came to a conclusion that a person can only eat a certain amount of food, so no matter how much ” ALL YOU CAN EAT” there is, you can only take what your stomach will accommodate.  This is really value for money for those who can eat a lot!! 🙂 Â

Aside from being our Top Salesman for tickets and lootbags, We are so lucky to have our batchmate Jill who always makes sure that everyone is fed with her yummy caviar pie and recently I tasted her yummy lasagna! Â

On our way home from the National Museum we saw the new Midas Hotel and we were curious to see how it looked, so we stopped by

And wow!! I loved the lobby wall!! I only realized later on that those were Hermes bag boxes!!! It must be the boxes of the bags of the owner?  I don’t think you can buy just boxes to display! 🙂
There was a display near the elevator of an Hermes bag which was for sale. Â The guard told us that there used to be three and the other two were sold already. Hmmm…

We went to see their restaurants, they apparently only have a coffeeshop and they were having a buffet at that time. I wish they had more boutique hotel type restaurants

Mom bought some costumes from Rustan’s and  dressed up the guard and the houseboy and they gave out candies to the kids!! Then she put some halloween spooky sounds through her cd player and it was so much fun!! Some took photos with them and some kids got scared and cried 🙂Â
After the kids had their trick or treat around the village, they all came over and Mom prepared for them a party 🙂  What would we do without Mom???Â
We were supposed to come in costume and I totally was not prepared. Â Before it was rare to see adults in costume but nowadays, you will be out of place if you are not in costume!!! So next year, I will make sure I am prepared!!
We were all laughing when Quito and Pam arrived!!!!  Apparently they want to “SAVE THE WORLD!”  together 🙂Â
My sister told me that her kids are very resourceful! Â They did not buy any costume, they just put things together from their closets!!!! Â HOW CREATIVE!!!Â
