Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan Accomodation

By | Accomodations, Travel | One Comment

This is the map of the whole Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan.

Previous entry:  Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

Immediately you will see that the best rooms are always with the view and by the beach – and those are the beach casitas

crimsonaccomodation-20.JPG

It’s a 6 hectare property so there is a golf car to bring you around if needed

crimsonaccomodation-16.JPG

Ocean front villa – These are the best accomodations in the resort as it is facing the ocean.  There is no direct access to the beach as they are on top of the cliff

 img_1325.JPG

The first villa which is convenient as it has the fastest access to the pool and beach but may not be the most private

crimsonaccomodation-08.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-09.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-07.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-01.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-06.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-02.JPGcrimsonaccomodation-03.JPG

Private pool facing the ocean

crimsonaccomodation-05.JPG

All the furniture in the resort is from Cebu 🙂

crimsonaccomodation-04.JPG

Beachfront Private Pool Villa- the next best accomodation in the resort – The beach is on the right handside of the resort and these villas are on that side – If I am not mistaken there are only 3 of these in the resort and you see them in this photo.

 crimsonaccomodation-11.JPG

They are nearest to the beach though I do not find them really private because many people pass by here to get to the beach.

crimsonaccomodation-12.JPG

Your pool is in an area where people pass to get to the beach and there is not much landscaping to cover and give you the privacy.  But then, you have your own pool in your villa and balcony

crimsonaccomodation-13.JPG

Across the road from the Beachfront private villas is the Beachfront Casitas – we didn’t get to go inside but we saw it from the outside and it is right in front of the beach hence the name

crimsonaccomodation-10.JPG

These are the roads leading to the hotel rooms

crimsonaccomodation-14.JPG

 Deluxe rooms

crimsonaccomodation-18.JPG

And this is where we stayed, the Deluxe Garden Villas

It was so nice to get away for a day and go to Cebu in just an hour flight.  About ten minutes away from the airport, we arrived ay Crimson Resort at Mactan!  To welcome us was Janine Taylor ( F&B Director ) and Malca Villanueva (Marketing Director)

And of course beautiful Cebuanas

crimsonresortspa-01.JPG

Crimson Resort was originally built as a clubhouse for the residents of the housing development of Filinvest.  In fact when you enter, the first thing you will pass will be the residential subdivision which is already sold out and then you go further to the resort.  The Gotianun family always come here to stay which probably is one of the reasons it is kept in good running condition

Sangkar, Bvlgari Resort Bali

By | Accomodations, Foodie, Travel | One Comment

There are two restaurants in the resort and Sangkar is the Indonesian restaurant.  I do not know what people are saying that the food in Bali is not good, but we had very good meals at Sangkar.  From the bar, it leads to the restaurant passing this beautiful bridge on water

sangkar-02.jpgblack-line.jpg sangkar-01.jpgblack-line.jpg

Sangkar means birdcage which explains the birdcages on the ceiling! Beautiful!

sangkar-03.jpgblack-line.jpgsangkar-04.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgsangkar-05.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

Just like the other parts of the resort, light is minimal so I hope you can read the menu 🙂

I love the way they serve the satay – it is on a mini grill on the plate and it was hot so the satay was warm until you actually eat it.  And of course there are all kinds of Satay

Villas at The Bvlgari Resort Bali

By | Accomodations, Travel | One Comment

There are 59 villas at the resort and this is the map which I saw in the room.  I was not able to research to make proper recommendations but I will describe based on the villas I saw during our stay.

Villa 10 to 15 are Ocean View Villas which are two bedroom villas.  If you are going as a family, this will be the best because it has 3 villas inside, one bedroom and in the middle the living room and then another bedroom.  You have the view of the Ocean directly above from your balcony.  According to my sister who stayed there with her family, when you are sleeping at night, you can hear the waves and the water from the Ocean.  So if that will not bother you and you like that, then this villa will work for you

bulgari-villas-map.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

This was our villa, Villa 32.  We were in the third level up after the Ocean Villas.  It was a one bedroom villa.  All the other villas are like this (aside of course from the Bvlgari Villa )

bulgari-villas-02.jpg

Entrance to your Villa

bulgari-villas-01.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

bulgari-villas-03.jpg

You have your own outdoor living room.  At night they put down the shades on the side

bulgari-villas-04.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

I really like these Indonesian lamps

bulgari-villas-05.jpg

living room facing the view and your own private pool

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-06.jpg

The bedroom

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-07.jpg

You have your own lounging chairs facing the beautiful view

Your own mini bar in the living room

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-025.jpg

Your key which comes with a Bvlgari keychain.  Make sure you don’t lose it because I heard you have to pay I think US$ 150.00 ( not sure ).  Well, with a beautiful Bvlgari keychain like that

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-027.jpg

WOW!!! LOVE THIS!! Javier stayed with us in the room which explains the extra bed

The TV showing you all the beautiful jewelry from Bvlgari! 🙂

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-050.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-016.jpg

Each of us had this in our room.  They gave toys and nice indonesian handicrafts each night but we did not know it was a gift, so we left it 🙁 So make sure you get them, they were nice wooden instruments and other wooden handicrafts

Amenities inside the closet

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-034.jpgbulgari-villas-040.jpg

Behind the bed and closet is the bathroom!! BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-019.jpg

My photo does not justify the bathroom so I got a photo from the internet

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgaria-hotels-and-resorts1-from-david-travelcom.jpg

And finally a bathtub that has a pillow!  I always have to put a towel to rest my head, this was the only place that had a pillow amongst all the places I have been to

bulgari-villas-051.jpg

Candles to set the mood!! I love it! And they had these long matchsticks which I really liked because it is easier to light especially if the candleholder is deep or if you are lighting many candles

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-021.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-020.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-022.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-036.jpgbulgari-villas-038.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-037.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-039.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-023.jpgbulgari-villas-054.jpg

The rooms are dark which I think is done on purpose as this is the mood in the resort.  My Lolo had lights added since he really found it dark 🙂  I like it that the curtains are all around  black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-052.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-061.jpgbulgari-villas-062.jpg

This is the Ocean Villa ( Two Bedroom )

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-045.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

Master bedroom – almost the same as the regular villa, but for some reason they did not have the same big bathroom we had.  I do not know if all Ocean Villas are like this

bulgari-villas-046.jpgbulgari-villas-047.jpg

Day shot of the private pool and on the side they have an outdoor shower for the pool

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-057.jpg

This is the balcony of the Ocean Villa overlooking the Ocean- since there are three villas inside – there are three balconies all connected

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-059.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-villas-058.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

Wow, I did not get to see this, but they have the Bvlgari Villa which is their Presidential Suite

Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts Bali

By | Accomodations, Travel | 2 Comments

Two weeks ago, we were very fortunate to have visited Bali and we stayed at the very beautiful Bvlgari Resort!!!  It’s a perfect getaway for a honeymoon, for a short vacation and just relax and get away from it all.  It was nice to be together with the family and spend time and bond

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-resort-bali-01.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

Tight security upon entering the resort

bulgari-resort-bali-046.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpg

Though it is a bit inconvenient to get to Bali from Manila, when you get there, it’s all worth it

black-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-resort-bali-09.jpgblack-line.jpgblack-line.jpgbulgari-resort-bali-02.jpg

View of the villas from the main lobby of the resort.  There are 59 villas all in all

Because the resort is quite big and has uphills and downhills, best way to travel around is with the golf cart 🙂  Just request for them from wherever you are and they will come to pick you up.  You can also walk around when not in a hurry
