Congratulations Tita Wing Del Prado and Ramon del Prado on your exhibit!!!
Around 35 years ago, Tita Wing del Prado had an exhibit in the same place and now she is back. She told me that she stopped painting when she had the kids 🙂 But now that she has more time to spare, she is back to painting
Mother – Son artists – Ramon and Wing del Prado
This was how the invitation of the 1978 show looked like 🙂
Proud son and brother, Miguel del Prado with his aunt, Tita Entang Carballo
Magnifying classes so you can see the miniature paintings 🙂

Platera series by Wing del Prado – She imagined what people would have in their platers. This is Bea Zobel’s Platera 🙂
She also paints on other things like candelabras
or on wooden pieces
Ramon’s style s textures. He is into digital animation and he wanted to try another form of art. In 2007 he got his Fulbright scholarship in New York which enabled him to take his Masters in the School of Visual Arts. He then came home and was a consultant for The Commission on Information Communications Technology (CICT) teaching animation to public high schools around the country. He is now a freelance graphic designer and animator. He does some work with Tuldok Animation Studios to further enhance the Filipino animation industry to help our country preserve our culture through animation

Take time out to watch the video. I am so happy that Marla Dizon shared this with me! Heart2Heart is so happy that there exists such a foundation, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc ( RAFO ) and provides a different need – SHELTER KITS!
[wp_youtube]N1Wso5L1s5Q&[/wp_youtube]
Marla’s Dad, Tito Paquito Dizon and Vita Sarenas of Finale Gallery will be raising money through an auction which will be held today! All proceeds will go to RAFI to buy more shelter kits
100% of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation
to purchase shelter kits. Shelter has had to take a backseat to food and medicine but is integral to the recovery process. The NYTimes came out with an article last week about the increas in pneumonia as a direct result of the lack of shelter. I am so glad there are so many people helping and covering as many areas as possible to ensure the safety and well being of our fellowmen!
So glad they cover 3 steps which has a longer term response
The shelter kids will be distributed through the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc
Each costs P 3,500.00

The following day was the actual tour of the Kremlin. We just walked from our hotel to get here

Before going to dinner, Richard and Sasa took us to the Radisson Hotel
There is a diorama in the lobby of the hotel which they purchased at an auction
It’s a good idea to come here before you visit the Kremlin and there is a recording you can listen to to give you a background on the city
I took a photo with people so you can see the scale of the diorama
It highlights and talks about the different monuments and buildings in the area – so it is a good short and quick tour already

Around the flat are other paintings made by Sasa!! She’s so talented!!
My favorite 🙂 aside from the icons of course

Talking about sweet couples and Filipinas marrying foreigners 🙂 Here’s another favorite couple of Heart2Heart! Pierre and Ria, the sweet couple behind The Fruit Garden. Every year they have something new
So nice how they mixed Art with their products – a Negrenese artist – Charlie Co who is a friend of Ria who is from Negros
In Charlie Co’s words, the painting “is a marriage between two people from two different cultures as shown by the different landmarks in the background, the Eiffel tower and the Bacolod plazza bandstand
The viewer is brought into a stage where the story begins to unfold. The Negros lansdcape shows the three mountains of Negros and sugar cane field. Paper boat dots the ground representing dreams. A couple stands atop a horse, and the horse represents travelling. They have travelled to many far places only to find their home in the Philippines
A violinist plays beautiful music as the couple celebrates with food and wine their successful partnership not just in love but in business as well. Pierre and Ria have perfected the Recipe of Love”
Each package comes with a gift card with the same artwork of the painting
The Fruit Garden has a Salted Caramel spread and other unique flavours in the Carewell gift packs
The chocolate line this year presents 8 of our jam flavors, filling belgian chocolate pralines, in a box of 16 pralines
