We followed this food truck named, KOJI!  Koji was parked that day by the Museum and we went to have their fusion Mexican-Korean burritos! I heard that people follow them on twitter so they know where the Koji truck will be parked on any given day, apparently they have a following

Heart2Heart is so fortunate to have  witnessed the talent of Carlos Ibay!  Another great Filipino talent and an inspiration!  I used to play the piano when I was younger and I love watching and listening to music from the piano. Not only can Carlos play the piano but he also has a beautiful voice.  Read on below about Carlos and be amazed at his accomplishments!

By | Arts and Culture | 2 Comments

Heart2Heart loves Art in the Park!! So happy to see people appreciating the art works and visiting friends who had booths and selling.  I was there at around 2:30pm and there were so many people buying already.  I went back 3 times and stayed till almost closing time.  FUN FUN FUN! I was able to take photos of some friends and their acquisitions.  Congratulations again to the Museum Foundation of the Philippines

Asian Cultural Council Art Auction on Feb 4

By | Arts and Culture, Giving Back | No Comments

Rare works by Arturo Luz, Fernando Zobel, Fernando Amorsolo, Betsy Westendorp,  Neal Oshima plus 90 others will be made available at the Asian Cultural Council Art Auction  on Saturday, February 5, 4pm at the Finale Art File on Pasong Tamo, Makati. Previews are on February 3 and 4.

There is a wealth of talent in this country that only need a chance to become outstanding artists.  The Asian Cultural Council Philippines (ACCP) raises funds to help make this happen by providing grants for them to learn from and be exposed to other artists in Asia and in the United States.

Some noted ACCP grantees include Lucrecia Kasilag and Jose Maceda (both national artists for music); Tikoy Aguiluz (noted film maker); Jose Joya (CCP Gawad award and national artist for visual arts) and Alice Reyes (founder of Ballet Philippines) to name a few. The ACC fellowship program has supported over 600 Asian and American artist scholars since its inception.

The Finale Art File is located in the La Fuerza Building (Gate1), 2214 Pasong Tamo, Makati. The online catalogue will be available by January 24 atwww.asianculturalcouncil.org.
