The Most Expensive Items in the World
The International Space Station is the most expensive object ever made by man. Hovering 380 kilometers above us, it is worth about 150 billion dollars.
The most expensive Bonsai tree in the world is Over 300 Years Old and will run you around 1.3 million.
The most expensive book in the world is the Codex Leicester of Leonardo da Vinci, a book of scientific writings by the famous geniues, will cost you 30.8 million.
The most expensive watch in the world, the A. Lange Sohne Grand Complication. This immensly complicated (876 hand wrought parts, 7 complications and 14 functions) and precise watch can only be made by one man in the whole world, and it takes him a whole year just to make one! It can be yours with patience and $2.5 million dollars.
The most expensive jet in the world is the Airbus 318 Elite Private Jet and if you want it you better have 62 million and gas money.
The most expensive Cognac in the world is called Henry IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne (say that 3 times fast!) and a bottle costs no less than $2 million. That would be about $20,000 per sip.
The most expensive dog in the world is the beautiful, Rare and huge Tibetan Mastiff puppy (dog on the right). This gorgeous hound is worth $2 million dollars.
The most expensive photograph ever sold was this deceptively plain photo of the Rhein II, made by German artist Andreas Gursky and sold for 4.3 million.
The most expensive sword in the world belonged to no other than Napoleon Bonaparte, and will go for about $6.4 million.
The most expensive car in the world, currently, is the Lamborghini Veneno, costing 4.6 million.
The most expensive champagne in the world is the delicious Gout de Diamants Champagne was sold for 1.2 million. However, it is not the liquid that makes this bottle so pricey, but the bottle, which has an 18 carat white gold plate with a 19 carat diamond mounted in the middle of it.
The most expensive mushroom in the world, an Italian White Alba Truffle, 1.51 Kilograms is worth $160,406.
The most expensive computer in the world is the huge Milky Way 28243 Supercomputer in Guangzho, China, and would cost about $400 million to recreate.
The most expensive viola in the world, the Stradivarius MacDonald Viola, made in 1719 and one of only 10 surviving violas made by the famous master Luthier. It was recently sold for $45 million.
The most expensive beer in the world is the Antarctic Nail Ale, if you want to try it, you better be prepared to spend $1,815 per bottle, so there better be a darn good reason for celebration.

Last night at 6pm I was having second thoughts on seeing the Pope so I already decided that I was not anymore going. This morning I woke up at 530am and was thinking about it all night, so at 615am I decided I was going to go! NO REGRETS!!!! I did not want to regret not seeing the Pope while he is here in our country!! I went to bootcamp at 630 and exercised for 20 minutes haha!! then picked up my son Javier who last minute missed school so he could see the Pope too. I was so happy he came along!!
So lucky today! We went with the Lopa family to see the Pope! Ms. Lopa who was my teacher in Assumption high school, Alesso, Tita Cora the mom of my batch mate Rhea and Nanette sister of my sister in law Krie ! They live so near Roxas Boulevard so they went everyday to see the Pope!!
We went in style – they had a ladder to help us up to go over to the other side of Roxas Blvd haha!! Love adventures like theseAs soon as we crossed the other side of Roxas Boulevard I spotted a place where I could stand!!
I put my hand there – meaning RESERVED!! 🙂 We waited about an hour here waiting for Pope Francis Javier was even able to join me as well in that spot. People were kind. Maybe it was the last day and they had seen Pope already! 🙂 But nevertheless, they were kind to make us cut through that small space The secret is to make friends with the police and the people by the barricade ! 🙂 We were able to make singit and be right in front. Before the Pope arrived, I was hoping I would get an opportunity to be invited to see the Pope, but did not receive any. So I had no plans of going to join the crowd. But on the day Pope Francis arrived and saw the overwhelming posts of everyone, I wanted to feel what they felt. So I mentioned it to my family and my sister in law Krie pointed me to her sister Nanette who took us with them. God had something to do with this and I am sure it was Him who brought me here today and He wanted it to be this way. I wanted to see the Pope together with everyone else and feel the same way they felt. I loved being with the kids who were also waiting and chanting. And even if maybe there would have been a possibility for me to see Pope Francis maybe in the Vatican, I don’t think it would be the same as seeing him together with my fellow Filipinos in our very own country. TRULY BLESSED!!! And because we waited for about an hour I made kwento with them 🙂 These policemen are from Laguna and just from their area they are 20,000!!
The whole passageway of the Pope is lined with policemen. And they told me that they have been in Manila since Jan 11! So for 9 days they lived in Cuneta Astrodome and slept there sitting up! :-O Yet I told them they are so lucky to serve the Pope!
One of the policemen even took the video for me, James Floria
Kids waiting to see Pope Francis and they were so cute – they were the ones chanting and shouting ” Viva Il Papa!”Helicopters flying around means the Pope is near!! 🙂
Up to now my heart is beating fast with excitement. My heart is so happy!!! GOD LOVES US! GOD LOVES THE PHILIPPINES!!! This is proof ! thank you to the policeman James Floria for taking the video. I was able to concentrate on shouting and looking at the Pope in that short time
Here is the video Policeman James Floria took for me – This is the full version with all the voices. “steady ka lang ha, steady lang ha!” with the cute kids chanting ” Viva Il Papa” and the girl screaming there is me haha!!
And this is the slow motion version
