Engagement of Din & Mar

In a years time these two lovebirds are going to get married 🙂 Din & Mar

I met Mariza when she was 10 years old and now she’s a young lady getting married. How time flies!

They will have a Philippine wedding for Mar’s family and a UK wedding for Din’s family. And they will be living in the Philippines half the year and in the UK the other half. They told me its a compromise for both so they can be with their respective families. Congratulations

We had a special Sunday family lunch two weeks ago! We are happy that there will be a wedding in the family!!! The first de Jesus Grandchild in the family is getting married 🙂 Congratulations Lew and Ria!!!

Yipee everyone read the memo!! haha!! Blue will be the theme color for the wedding – not sure yet what shade but it’s blue 🙂 Though it might still change… September is still several months away 🙂

I brought all all my blue and white linens 🙂 I printed almost 90 photos which I got from Ria’s instagram account! That’s a lot for three years of dating haha!! 🙂

I sewed all the photos one by one 🙂

We had Thai food by Chef Tum! ( Await my post on Chef Tum )

We had plenty desserts!!

The engagement cake was a special cake by Chef Nikko. It was the Kahlua Mocha cake which was served to the Pope! When I saw Mocha, I wanted to try it! Pope and Mocha are LOVE! I requested her to put “Will You” since this cake was for Lew and Ria. It’s for them but it’s really for Keena and I who love mocha! haha 🙂

Lew had a very unique way of proposing to Ria – they were playing charades and he acted out WHEEL and pointed to Ria for YOU = WILL YOU ……… and he knelt down with the ring. I saw the video of it and cried when he knelt down – how sweet!! That explains the words on this cake 🙂

Pancho and Desiree Wedding Ceremony

It was an honour for us to be a part of this wedding being a friend to PepeWhat a beautiful venue for the wedding. Pancho told us that when they went with their wedding planner to look for venues for the wedding, there was no need to look further as soon as Desiree saw this place. It was the first and the last for viewing 🙂

Valhalla Estate

The wedding was supposed to be held out in the garden but because of the rain, it was done indoors. Pancho and Desiree chose this time of the year to have the wedding because historically the weather is perfect with a cool temperature and just enough sun after the summer season. But it rained that day which is actually not so bad – it’s good luck:-)
