It was our first time to attend and my friend Joey, cousin of Tessa, told me that she has been having these parties since the year 2000 and every year is a different theme. HOW FUN! Next time, I am going to come prepared and make sure I bring a big bag and early on I will already hoard some giveaways before it runs out 🙂

Many of us are turning 40 already and Jeanne is one of the first few ones. Yvonne started aready earlier this year ( Pael’s Surprise for Yvonne May 27, 2009 ) and soon there will be more coming up.
Jeanne has been my friend since gradeschool and she is a very simple, kind, loving and loyal friend. She is one of my dearest! She is forty and looking so beautiful and blooming more than ever! 🙂 Jeanne has a fabric store called Bloomingdales and she designs all her clothes using her fabrics. She is always very fashionable and dressed up and of course always looks good!
Who would think she is a mother of 4 kids??
She is one to always celebrate special occassions, so of course she definitely celebrated her 40th. We love you Jeanne!!! Happy Birthday!!!

Heart2Heart would like to share another beautiful article written by Mandy Chavez, a friend of my Dad who lives in the States. This was another article I kept for years in my computer and it proves that Thanksgiving can be what we want it to be. For Heart2Heart and for many out there, though it is an American holiday, many choose to celebrate it just to give thanks. It is a time to pause and think about all the things we should be thankful for…….. and we just realize that there are just too many. So, from now on, Thanksgiving is an official holiday at Heart2Heart 🙂
This year, we celebrated with Dad and Mom and some foreign guests. And again, this is proof that we can interpret our own thanksgiving- though we know that Thanksgiving is always associated with having turkey, my Mom prepared not only turkey but we had lechon and other Filipino dishes. We had foreign guests and invited them to our family thanksgiving celebration. I like my Mom’s version of thanksgiving because she “Philippinized it”

Heart2Heart loves PINK! What a nice PINK CUPCAKE PARTY for Baby Lucia!! I was so flattered when my friend, Weng, asked me to take photos of her grand daughter’s birthday party. Of course I could not say no and squeezed it in my schedule. She is obviously very proud of her adorable Lucia!!

Wow!! My friend Janet is amazing!! This is the 3rd year in a row her son, David,
has won BEST IN COSTUME ( Beast in Costume Back to Back October 28, 2008 )
in the Manila Polo Club halloween party! She makes the costumes by herself and manages to come up with great ideas!!!
