I knew I was not going to be able to make it for Christmas dinner at Lolo’s house so I went there in the afternoon to take photos!  I am so glad I did! I like coming during the calm before the storm! 🙂
They set up a temporary tent in the basketball court
And it was magical!  I felt bad I was going to miss this!
So organized!! Tita Nedy thinks of everything!  Seating arrangement plan! 🙂
The dinner was catered by Tin Hau, Mandarin Oriental
Since I was not there, there are no food photos! haha!!  But thanks to my cousin Catherine, I have these two!  The Chinese Chefs behind the scenes cooking in the garage 🙂
There was mass by Father Caluag and a program by the 4th Generation. Â We arrived at the end of the program already. Â A few snapshots of that evening
After the program is eating time again – Noche Buena and exchange gifts
And thanks to Tita Nedy and Anton, we have Tombola ( Italian version of Bingo ).  I was lucky this year and was the first to win! 🙂

We went a few weeks before Christmas. Â Many of them are animated and in motion! Â They really spend a lot to decorate
The Landmark
Love this effort!
There’s not a lot of Santa or Angels, but I noticed a lot of reindeers 🙂
I like the idea of a Tiffany Blue Christmas!! Â Out of the ordinary
IFC Mall. Â This is also interesting! Â Pedal for LOVE!
Ocean terminal was a Disney Christmas!!  NICE!!

It was so nice of Tito Serge and Tita Bettina and family to come over on Christmas day to celebrate Christmas with Dad and all of us!!! Since Dad does not really like going out, they were the ones who came overÂ
Dad’s theme is red and white Christmas decorated by Tina
They also brought all the yummy food!!! Â Homemade with LOVE by Tita Bettina’s kitchen! Â Thank you so much!!!
A new dish we tried prepared by Tita Bettina – an Italian dish called Tripa Florentina – it is like callos and fabada but Italian version.  You mix both, put parmesan cheese and then pour some olive oil as demonstrated by Gloria 🙂
Plenty desserts from gifts 🙂

The health conscious, hard working 🙂  bootcamp group agreed to have a christmas get together this year!  The last time we had this was in 2007 and it was a totally different group!  Margie planned that and she’s not with us anymore! Â

Arlene took us out but I chose the place! 🙂  I am so happy to be with these ladies – Arlene, Mayet and Eds.  We chose to have brunch so that was 10am and the best time to be in a restaurant because it is not crowded and we had the place all to ourselves till around 1130am and fully crowded by 1230pm
I chose Yabu! Â
Previous entry:  Yabu:  House of Katsu  November 11, 2011Â
Love love this place and I am so happy it’s in Makati!!!!
I have been wanting to try the best tonkatsu in the house!  So we had the Kurobota.  Eds wanted curry so we asked them to put the curry sauce on the side.  So nice to know they have brown rice too now.   And now everything is unlimited!! In the sets you can order anything on the tray again and again 🙂  Though I cannot finish more than what is there 🙂  I just like the fact that you have the option to have more of something you likeÂ
And I wanted to try this too!!!! Â
Katsu with cheese inside!!! YUMMY!!! Its ground pork and beef so it’s like a burger type
I love the restroom! It has all these posters of different quotes, tweets, quotes from blogs and I saw Chuvaness! 🙂
The place was so full when we were leaving at around 1230pm and we screamed when we saw Lisa and Margie in the outside seating!! Â So happy to see them!!
Two days later, my brother, Quito, sent me this!!  He saw it in Yabu in Megamall!! The first branch! I was so so touched! I love John and Peachy for always making me feel important 🙂 I am so happy Yabu is so successful and you are both successful! 🙂  Merry Christmas!!
I found this old photo of Javier in a Yabu tshirt 🙂

Here are some of the Christmas hams that I know of.  If there are other yummy hams there I would appreciate it if you would let me know so I can add them to my list 🙂 Â
You can never go wrong with Jamon! Â It’s a family favorite and available in Rustan’s. Â I put here the ham pages from the Traditions Catalog of Rustan’s
I am not really a ham person until I tasted this! Â We received this as a gift and we had it a few days ago and wow!!!
As the instruction says, slice it as thick as a finger – so it is like a bacon slab and wow! YUMMY!! Â It’s a pork belly ham! Â And the Parkson rolls that come with it are also very good!!
I saw this on their facebook page and it looks good too with sliced pears
The instructions which comes with the gift box
A classic favorite for years!!! Â We received one of these too
My friend, Laura Lim Rodrigo, owner of Connoiseur Catering, brought her bellycious lechon and ham!  It came in this beautiful packaging
