Emporio Armani Styles on Stars

By | Entertainment, Fashion, What's New at Rustan's | No Comments

Emporio Armani has become synonymous to high end fashion and couture worldwide. As one of the most prestigious names in the fashion industry, it’s no surprise for us to see tinsel town’s finest donning Emporio Armani at any given day.

Olivia Wilde looked refreshingly chic as she attended the Nylon Magazine party in Los Angeles celebrating their August issue. She commanded attention as she wore a black Emporio Armani jumpsuit with a sparkling top half. She completed her look with blunt bangs, curls and booties to complete her red carpet look.

olivia-wilde.jpeg

Calista Flockhart was simply elegant as she went to the Cowboys and Aliens premiere in San Diego. She looked youthful as she was spotted wearing a modern white and navy Emporio Armani cocktail dress that showed off her physique.

calista-flokhart.jpeg

For sleek and standout styles, Emporio Armani delivers nothing less!

In the Philippines Emporio Armani is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is located at Greenbelt 4, Makati City.

Encantada Gala Night

By | Arts and Culture, Entertainment | 3 Comments

Thank you to Smart Infinity for a lovely evening at the CCP!!!

I am into noticing chandeliers nowadays and of course noticed this as soon as I entered… a beautiful Filipiniana piece

encantada-gala-night-01.jpg

I invited my good friend and ballerina, Maritoni and she brought along one of her ballerina friends, Liza dela Fuente-Castañeda

img_5931.jpg

and of course my bestfriend, Eds and it was so nice to bump into Nay Nay

 img_5929.jpg

When I saw the friend of Eds with these little girls, I remember the days when Lola Glecy or Mom would take me and my sister to the CCP regularly and it was really a formal affair.  Mom would dress us up and everyone else was in their formal attire.  We had fond memories of the ballet…I miss those days

encantada-gala-night-010.jpg

and bumping into more familiar faces- Bernice and her Mom and Eds’ cousin

Macau for Kids

By | Accomodations, Entertainment, For kids, Travel | 3 Comments

This is for my friend Michelle who is going to Macau soon.  This is what I have gathered in the short time I was in Macau. My kids are older kids already so I tried to gather what I saw and not really experienced them myself. So I may have missed others.

I recommend Macau for a short vacation with the kids because the city is so near Manila, it is beautiful especially with the Portuguese influence, it is very clean,  and it is so fun and entertaining!  Not only for kids but for people like me who don’t gamble 🙂  It was summer for the Chinese so there were many kids at the time we were there

I heard that the Venetian Hotel is kid friendly and they have big rooms for families.  The Venetian is also very central and that is where all the action and entertainment is.  Click below for more information and to see the different kinds of rooms

Don’t worry about kids getting lost in casinos.  They are very very strict and will not let any kid go to the casino.  They were so strict that my Dad almost fought with the security!  haha!!  It was raining and we had not where to pass to get to the Lobby unless we got wet in the rain with the strong rain.  And we were rushing to leave for the airport after lunch.  We had to call Ralph to help us and he just gave in because he knew my Dad was already so so mad!

2.)  Fish Spa
