So happy to always see Tita Maritess in many events, mostly art events but also in events that patronize our very own. There are some people I know who are so passionate about promoting our very own and Tita Maritess is one of them. Thank you Tita, we need more people like you Aside from being a Board of Director of MaARTe, she is also instrumental as Chairman, FilipinaZ Arts and Fashion Fair in another foundation, The Zonta Cub of Makati and Environs Foundation Inc. ( ZCME )

She told me that this shopping event will merge fashion and art. Beside her in this photo is a Limited edition Joy Mallari titled Ligaw 2006, The original is in the Pinto Museum and there will be 15 of these for sale
The ZCME is known for staging an annual fundraising activity in order to generate funds to support its projects, to wit: training disadvantaged women in livelihood skills and thereafter providing them with microcredit for their microbusiness, providing them with free Pap smear tests and breast-cancer screening, advising them on their legal rights, rehabilitating sexually-abused girls aged 6 to 17 in a haven in Marillac Hills, etc. For this year, the Fair will highlight creations featuring designers, artisans, creative entrepreneurs and the like. It further intends to mobilize, sensitize and most importantly, empower women.
FilipinaZ Art and Fashion Fair by the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs Foundation Inc. I also met a young boy (17 yrs old) Francisco Coching the IV. In the photo is his Dad and manager, Pam Banoi. Francisco rolls masking tape and makes them into beautiful works of art. He told me he would do this when he gets bored in class 🙂 The eagle in the photo took him two months to make and if you look close there is so much detail in it. What a unique form of art!! He is the grandson of National artist for a Visual Arts, Francisco V. Coching, the illustrator

So happy to see Marion Salonga, a fellow Assumptionista and cousin of my good friend, Lilli Ann. A very busy and hard working woman ( and still single 🙂 ). She did not want me to take her photo so I just grabbed a photo of her from instagram together with Toni Gonzaga.
Marion works for her family business, Le Donne. Le Donne is a 40 year old store which started out as a shoe store and now they have bags as well. And if you are familiar with the stores- Milani, Ohrelle and Mondi, these are all stores selling shoes and bags but are stores owned by Marion’s cousins. I am trying to imagine how competitive it is for the cousins to be in the same type of business and competing against each other, yet it’s amazing how close they are to each other. Le Donne has 20 locations now and still growing. Marion is very hands on in the business and makes sure that production and quality of the products are to their standards. Aside from Le Donne, Marion is also Vice President of Meridian Securities Inc which is a stock brokerage firm of her family as well. More power to you Marion 🙂
They got Toni Gonzaga as their endorser for the brand 🙂
An interesting brand of shoes where the heels of the shoes are embellished 🙂
