Din Tai Fung, Hong Kong

By | Foodie, Travel | 5 Comments

We did not leave HK without having our Xiao Long bao at Din Tai Fung!  So we made a quick stopover at Din Tai Fung right before going to the airport just to make sure we ate there!!

So far, we have been to Shanghai and Hong Kong…for sure wherever there is a Din Tai Fung, we will be there 🙂

This is Nadaman Part 2 already since Heart2Heart featured it already before

Of course, when we reserve, we make sure Chef Mok is there to cook for us

img_1432.jpgimg_1433.jpgimg_1444.jpgimg_1446.jpgimg_1447.JPG

Heart2Heart suggests that you eat in Nadaman for lunch because it is cheaper than dinner.  If you go dinner time, the menu prices changes maybe to even double

Father’s Day by Chef Allan

By | Father's Day, Foodie | 6 Comments

We were planning to treat dad out for father’s day….. but last minute we changed the plans and decided to just celebrate it at home….We hired the cook of our brother for one evening to cook the food.  Chef Allan was a former chef in our Lola’s restaurant, so we were excited to try his cooking!

We of course enjoyed the food!!  It was very very good!! I was teasing my brother that i will pirate Chef Allan!  🙂

Different ways of having our burgers, we all have our own choice of garnishings and our own way of eating burgers and we are so happy we have many choices at Gerry and Tina’s place
