We also had a night to celebrate with our good friend, Jigger, the groom to be. At the same time, celebrating the arrival of another good friend, Jerome. So the gang got together at Tosca. I personally like the restaurant. It is beautifully done, nice ambience, peaceful and the food is great! Thanks to my friend, Ton and to Elbert for telling us about this place also in Dusit Hotel.
Welcoming our friend Jerome as he had just arrived from the States. He wanted Asian food so we went to Benjarong in Dusit Hotel. It was really good!! And what is nice about the hotel is that it is quiet and peaceful. It had also been renovated recently.

We were invited to have dessert by a friend, Dan, known as “Mr. Max”, who actually fits in very well in the place 🙂 Thanks Dan!! We get along so well with Dan because he is fun to be with and just like us enjoys EATING! and has a blog too called Thainese Take Out ( as he lives in Thailand ) which is all about food 🙂

We went to Max Brenner after we had eaten in Gilak by Hossein. So you can imagine how full we were already so we ended up ordering just drinks. I liked the drink containers they were using.. the HUG MUG and the DRINK ME mug! Very fun!
We were first introduced to Max Brenner inside Harrod’s in March of 2002 by our good friends, Suharto and Rina, during our visit to London. We had the Fondue which is one of their specialities and Heart2Heart’s favorite.
Congratulations to ICanServe on a very successful event! Every year, it gets better and better! There were so many people who helped organize the event, so many volunteers who came to lend a helping hand and so many people who attended the event. The place was jam packed! I hope that Rockwell puts up a bigger tent so we can have a bigger venue for Pink Kitchen 2009 🙂

This is our second time to eat in Myron’s and we enjoyed both experiences. I finally had the Burger with Foie Gras and had the oyster sampler. Yum Yum! And even after eating there twice, I still have to go back to try the other dishes

We got to meet the owner, Mon Eugenio and his wife Monique
I am so lucky to have dined with three handsome men……

We tried out the new restaurant at Power Plant Mall at Rockwell, Astralis.
The dishes I liked of course had cheese or truffle. I liked their presentation and the serving platters that they used.
Melted Fresh Mozzarella
Baked Oysters, Three Ways
Mom and I liked this one!
Baked Camembert in Phyllo Pastry
Our GMs Favorite Salad – I was so curious to try this …and liked it!
Traditional Ceasar Salad
( this is half portion since we had it split into two )
Broccoli Soup
Mini US Wagyu Beef Burgers done in three Ways
I am always curious to try burgers – it is one of my latest craze. It was okay, the best for me was the truffle burger…. though of course I wish I could choose the ways – like I would have probably wanted one that had cheese
Prawn and Asparagus Risotto
Pan Grilled Sea Bass
Grilled US Wagyu Rib Eye – ladies cut ( half portion again since we had it split into two )
It came with 3 sauces, the best for me was the truffle sauce
