Gloria Maris Hot Pot

By | Foodie | No Comments

Thanks to Tito Bert and Tita Fely for hosting a delicious hotpot dinner at Gloria Maris for the Reyes family and for some of us friends.
Aside from having a delicious yet healthy meal, Rina said Tita Fely enjoyed the evening and was happy to be surrounded by people who love her….and that is what is important.

Maurizio Ristorante

By | Foodie | No Comments

We had dinner in Maurizio Ristorante since we just found out that this is owned by our friends, Mykie Ozaeta and Emerson Yao of Lucerne. The eggplant dip which came with the pane di casa was very good. The pastas and risottos were very good as well and the black cherry gelato.

Elbert’s Steak Room

Sept. 18, Tuesday
We wanted to have a good dinner with some friends and we did…at Elbert’s Steak Room. Aside from being the famous Mac expert, Elbert is now also known for his steaks. There was a need to have a good steak place in Manila, so he wanted to fill that demand.
Everyone talked about how difficult it was to find the place because it had no sign and we asked Elbert why it was that way and he said that it was not a priority because he would like his customers to come on purpose and know what they are getting into and know what to expect….. and true enough, just by word of mouth, his place is always booked in its one month of operations. For more information visit his website: http://www.steakroom.com/Home.html

Guava

By | Foodie | No Comments

This was my first time to eat in Guava….thanks to my friends Brenda and Lucille for inviting me to join them for lunch. It is amazing what dishes you can make with guava. I find this restaurant interesting because it is Filipino food with a twist. We should support our very own and I am glad we have restaurants like this.

Malcolm’s Place

Thanks to Vina and Lindy for introducing Malcolm’s. The dish that i would highly recommend is the Wagyu beef burger. I asked for the Blue Cheese butter which usually comes with the Wagyu steak orders since I like blue cheese burgers. It was really good. Try it!
