I visited my friend Chef Noel Dela Rama @nrdelarama who is back from New York and has a new home in Manila which he apparently opens for private meals. So he does off site cooking and now you can dine in his beautiful home. Its an old building that’s so 70’s and has so much character ! It can fit up to 16 people. I came before his guests arrived and he had tapas prepared! Contact him for more info and bookings at noeldelarama@me.com #H2HChefs#h2hcatering #h2hinteriors#NoelintheKitchen It’s so cozy and he took some elements from his ancestral home including the beautiful Narra flooring. Lights from the ancestral home
Moved to his place 🙂 He told me that the family members had to bid for the items from the house – of course at family friendly prices 🙂 His den which can convert to a guest room 🙂 Wooden floor from the ancestral home as well Portrait by Mikko Sison 🙂 If you do get to dine in Chef Noel’s @ndelarama place – ask him to show you his photo wall and explain each photo. It’s beautiful photos from his travels using his iPhone Photos with stories to tell #h2hphotography#h2hinteriors Dining area Balcony. The grills of the door are also from his ancestral home 🙂

First time for Heart2Heart to dine in the dark and realize how hard it is to be blind even if it’s something just as simple as eating. How blessed we are to have our sense of sight! Thank you to @eyesocietyph for your advocacy and most especially for providing a solution to help prevent blindness. Thank you for supporting the Eye Bank Foundation that helps people gain back their sight from corneal blindness. We all need to take care of our eyes #EyeSocietyPh#ESDinnerInTheDark #h2hhealth George Mirani and Margarita ForesWhat an eye opener for me! I didn’t know!!!! We listened to Neelam Gopwani, President of @eyesocietyph on what’s destroying our eyes and how we can prevent blindness.
In our world nowadays with so many gadgets we need to protect our eyes ( esp kids ) and there is a solution – Let’s all spread the word #EyeSocietyPh#ESDinnerInTheDark #h2hhealth#h2hheatlhyproducts #h2hhealthtips If you are going to eat in the dark or as a blind person, you will have to trust the people who are feeding you. Find out from Chef @margaritafores what she served us for our super amazing dinner at @eyesocietyph Dinner in the Dark 2 #ESDinnerInTheDark .
Not only did we enjoy the taste, smell, feel and hear about our food, we realized how lucky we are that we can see what we are eating and how important it is to have our sight. It was nice to see the food after because they were works of art so lovingly prepared by Chef Gaita and her team from @ciboph Thank you Gaita for giving so much of yourself always especially for good causes to help our society. #eyesocietyph
Julio our seatmate taught us how to schedule the blue light so I just configured it not to even turn on. Second preventive measure is to check out @eyesocietyph for the Tokai lenses and Third is to have my eyes checked and maybe get some Lutein supplements – we need to take care of our eyes #eyesocietyph #ESDinnerInTheDark#h2hhealth #h2hhealthtips

Chef Robby Goco of Cyma launches Souv – a new concept restaurant that’s more fun, fresh, modern and progressive Greek.
“Cyma’s success, the most popular Greek resto in the country, is the foundation of Souv! Chef Robby Goco integrated the top 12 favorite dishes of Cyma here in Souv! because it still has the DNA of Cyma but like we said earlier, we’re progressing. Souv! is adhered to Greek philosophy cooking of -good fat, healthy grains, lots of fiber , low sugar and carbs” Authentic Greek handpainted plates brought in by Chef himself. He saw a guy painting them and he brought them back home and now they are here on the wall of Souv 🙂 Souv comes from the word souvlaki/souvla/souva – a Greek dish referring to pieces of meat on a skewer. Staying true to its concept of being more fun and added with a little word play, we came up with “Souv!” Souv! is a full-sevice modern Greek concept focusing on a spit fired meat. Rotisserie is a style of roasting where meat is skewered on a long solid rod while being cooked over fire, using large joints of meat or entire animals such as lamb, pigs, and chickens. So nice to meet Chef Robby Goco @bleurobster and his business partner since the beginning (12 years ago), Kristine Meehan. Now with 6 Cymas ( “My Rock”) 3 Green Pastures ( spearheaded the organic movement in the country ) Yumi ( Japanese ) and Munchtown ( hotdog ) This is my first time to meet him and I’m impressed by his way of thinking and how he chose to do Greek and how he owned it in the country. I learned a lot from him about ingredients, about business, about many many things. I love listening to his rational behind things, his stories and dishes. Today I also found out why I like Greek food – it’s because of LOOPS. Come visit Souv @souvbycyma and I’m sure you will love it. #SouvByCyma #EverydayGreek#H2HChefs For appetizers, you can start with a range of mezzes from dips, to spinach and clam fondue. Greek NachosSticky Chicken wings
Strapatsada Baked Feta Clams and Spinach Fonduta Cheese Saganaki – Souv’s version of the famous ” Opa” dish of Cyma Grilled Sous Vide Octopus – YUM! such as the new take on Roka slata- the kinoa slata. To the Souv Salad
YUM! Avgotaracho- Greek tuna roe ( made by Souv themselves ) pasta in @souvbycyma “The thing about pasta is again it lacks fiber. So what the Greeks do is they put a green for fiber. #souvbycyma#everydaygreek #H2HPasta #h2hcaviar#avgotaracho
Yiouvetsi at @souvbycyma I call it Greek paella 🙂 ( but it’s not rice ) #SouvByCyma#EverydayGreek#H2HPasta
Lunch at @souvbycyma by Chef Robby Goco @bleurobster “You can have it as a wrap, a salad or a bowl. It comes with sides. It’s about 450 grams of food. In reality you are eating a lot but by weight, its just right. It’s going to full you up but not make you feel heavy. The food is cooked of 6 hours. It is slow food at its finest but served super fast” #SouvByCyma#EverydayGreek
Customizing your meal based on your preference whether what diet you have vegan, paleo, gluten-free. Orders are guaranteed to be served in just 5 minutes.
Wow! a MUST in @souvbycyma Angus beef short rib braised and grilled gremolata! Make sure to squeeze that grilled lemon. Our #chefjavs just made this for us 2 days ago #EverydayGreek #SouvByCymaThat’s not mayonnaise!! It’s emulsified extra virgin olive oil with clam juice!!!
Lavraki at @souvbycyma Whole fish ( shallow water sea bass ) served with clams and EVOO lemon sauce. I love how Chef Robby @bleurobster tries to always put a healthy factor in his dishes at #SouvByCyma#EverydayGreek
Meat Platter ( good for 2) garlic yogurt, pits, juicy potatoes, pickles and Greek coleslaw ( lahanosalata) You can have it in all chicken, all pork, all lamb, choice of 2 or all 3. This was all 3 and ofcourse my favorite was the lamb There are only 3 desserts at Souv @souvbycyma and I love them all because it’s made of fresh Greek yogurt ( locally made )
There is an off menu dessert – Rice pudding, salted caramel and pistachio #SouvbyCyma #EverydayGreek#H2HFroyo #GreekYogurt
Souv uses the 5 staple ingredients of Greek cooking, which we call SPOOL, to bring out the natural flavors of each ingredient-salt, pepper, olive oil, oregano, lemon.
At Souv! you are assured that all our dishes are made from scratch in house, all fresh daily. The idea is perfect simplicity, to preserve each ingredient’s distinct flavor and nutritional value.
Our dishes are perfectly paired with modern day Greek libations that are creative and everyday wines that are very affordable. We also cater to health conscious because we have organic and vegan-friendly red wines.
Come visit Souv! and have your #everdaygreek fix!
July 2017 sees Plato Wraps celebrating 16 years in the business. Starting out as Tony and Kamela Seen’s labor of love, Plato Wraps has grown over the years to become a true Filipino favorite – wraps that are deliciously familiar and comforting.
To mark their 16th year, the mother-daughter team of Kamela and Kreme Seen-Sumayao rolled up their kitchen sleeves and has come up with something really special after launching a fresh look for the brand last year, and many months of research and long hours in the kitchen.
Plato Wraps is adding two new exciting flavors to their menu – Peri-Peri Latino Wrap and Crabby Rappustarting July 29, 2017. These new wraps will be initially available in SM Megamall, Robinson’s Galleria, Glorietta 4, and Shangri-la Mall.
Kamela and Kreme decided to add these new items to their menu of time-tested favorites because they wanted to provide a new experience for their customers. They know that a person’s tastes and preferences are always evolving given that every time they experience new cuisines, they begin to enjoy a much wider world of flavor.
Plato Wraps will continue to develop new, exciting wraps – this is just the beginning, and they can’t wait to show what they have in store for the future!
Experience and taste your favorites to-go meals at @PlatoWraps and @PlatoWrapsOfficial or visit www.platowraps.com.ph

Lunch at Neil’s Kitchen May 13, 2015 So blessed to meet “Batman” Michelle Balaguer Ramos @michbramos 🙂 The woman behind the famous Neil Ramos of @neilskitchen I never met her before but she’s a friend of my sister. I took her photo in Westgate mall with the sign which has a photo of her husband Neil and their daughter Kaela. ( zoom in ) Yesterday she told us how she sold her business ( Andy & Karen 9 stores) so she could be an “obedient wife” and make her husband shine. And what happened? Neil is now so successful, so famous and so talkative ?? from being so quiet before. Who says that you won’t shine even if you are behind the scenes? So blessed to know the people and story behind @neilskitchen More power! though we know God will take care of you always !! #neilskitchenph #h2hpeople #H2Hquotes#h2hreligious

I never knew that this bookstore was an honesty bookstore! With many reminders! haha!!! Quotes from the bible on the shelves! :0) There is a pack of envelopes where you leave the money for the books that you buy And drop the payment here Michelle also took us to their new floor which used to be a rooftop.
