Looking for a fun and creative way to spend summer? Join the 2008 PETA Summer Theater Arts Workshop!
Children’s Theater 1 (ages 5 to 8 years old) and Children’s Theater 2 (ages 9 to 12) begin April 7 to May 2, 2008 from 8am to 12nn every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Production Workshop for Children (ages 9 to 12) from April 7 to May 2, 2008, 8am to 12nn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays require that a participant must have finished basic Children’s Theater courses.
Participants aged 13 to 16 may enrol in Teen Theater 1, or if they have finished the course, they may take Production Work for Teens. Classes begin April 14 to May 9, Mondays to Fridays at 1pm to 5pm.
For older kids (ages 17 and above), classes will be held from April 14 to May 9 for the following courses:Theater Arts 1, Monday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm; Basic Acting (for aspiring stage performers), Creative Musical Theater (for musically-inclined individuals), Dance Theater (for dance and movement enthusiasts) all from Monday to Friday from 6pm to 10pm; and Production Design from Monday to Friday, 6pm to 9pm.Specialized courses are also offered for community and cultural workers, formal and non-formal educators beginning May 12 to 17, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Theater for Development 1 (Community Theater), Theater For Development 3 (Theater for Advocacy), Theater-in-Education 1 (Creative Pedagogy) and Theater-in-Education 2 (Asian Theater).All classes will be held at the PETA Theater Center located at #5 Eymard Drive, New Manila Quezon City (right at the back of the Quezon City Sports Club).
