Color Away

By | Hobbies | No Comments

Colouring is not only an activity for kids but for adults too.  My friend Din Din Lagdameo and her daughter Teresa started Color Away

Read more from Din Din

Bringing back the fun world of coloring for all ages. Color Away is a creative activity to relax and destress from our daily grind. Take a break. Embrace your creativity! Let’s color away!!!

color away sheets Dindin Lagdameo

It’s the first set of coloring sheets we’ve drawn. It consists of 12 coloring sheets. Printed on nice thick card stock, these sheets may be colored with any kind of coloring material you fancy, even watercolor paint. Furthermore,  we encourage you to frame your art pieces once you’ve completed them. They would be lovely artworks to hang in your homes and workplace.

Color Away (5)History

As a child, I always remembered making sure I had my sharpened pencils, sweet-smelling erasers, box of at least 16 Crayola crayons, sheets of paper and a coloring book would always be in my bag. And my mom would make sure, we had fresh new ones every start of the summer. I’d spend hours during our free time coloring and boy did I enjoy it.

Fast forward to eons of years, it’s my turn to share this fun activity (with a twist) with my daughter.  In one of the art fairs we went to earlier this year, my daughter and I got inspired to get into drawing. Well, more of doodle really. She asked me to draw in pencil and she’d pen it and color them afterwards. We shared it on FaceBook… our first dindin&teresa collaboration. There were quite a few queries on where we bought our coloring book. Lo, and behold, another idea came to mind. After doing 3 collaborations with Teresa, we decided to stop coloring the succeeding drawings first. We may be able to draw enough to make coloring sheets to share. We designed this for all ages. So, Color Away was born.Color Away (3)

Thank you to Teresa for getting me back to drawing, to Dani DV and Maita L. for patiently waiting for this dream come true. And to all our friends and family who believed and are continuing to support all our creative dreams!!!Color Away (4)
