We took the Bondi Explorer to get to Bondi Beach. Mom likes us to take this bus because we get to see and learn more about the sights around the city. She gives the kids a quiz after and the one with the most points gets a prize 🙂 On the route, we passed several residential areas and i found the houses really interesting…. each having its own unique beauty and look

We took the train from the city to Chatswood. Beautiful place!! Geraldine toured me around her area and it was a nice and cozy town. Everything is nearby where she lived. The kids school, the police station, the mall, the train station, the church – everything is all one or two blocks away only so you can just walk around easily. Geraldine told me she did this on purpose to make it easier for all of them to adjust. Maybe later on move further from the commercial area and be closer to more greens. Thanks Geraldine for sharing with me your home…I really wanted to get a feel of how it is to live in Australia:-)
This is the area where she lives
Their beautiful home
and I get to meet Francis, her husband. Geraldine has all good things to say about her husband…she is so lucky!
Francis told me that he is busy training for the Iron Man to be held here in the Philippines in August. So he swims, bikes and runs everyday!
I did not get to meet the kids because they were all in school- these are old photos of the kids – they are much bigger now
I liked this photo of Geraldine’s brother, Rico Yan…
This is their cozy living room
and home office
and dining table
with a nice patio view
Kitchen
This is a very important part of Geraldine’s house because this is where she does all her cooking and baking. She told me she is grateful we had cooking classes in Assumption 🙂 because now she is applying all the cooking lessons we had in highscool. She prepares all the meals of the family!! Watch out, Geraldine might be the next Martha Stewart with all the baking and cooking she does now 🙂 And next time, I want to try your homemade tapa!

My good friend, Lilli Ann, fixed up her apartment in Rockwell. She showed it to us before turning it over to her client. She is not an interior designer but she amazed us all by furnishing and fixing it up herself and then she was able to rent it out for a very good price. Her apartment has a very nice view of the Fort, Manila Gold, Makati Skyline, Bel Air, Rockwell Compound and the Pasig River.

Entrance and hallway to her apartment
Lils told us she set up the dining table and the client said he wanted it to come with the whole set up 🙂
Lils made sure I took a photo of her chandelier which had mock candles 🙂
The client specified a flat screen TV 🙂

I love the new look of the Culte Femme boutique at Rustan’s department store Makati. Hindy and Rachelle ( by Rachelle Wenger November 30, 2008) worked on this together and came up with a beautiful store! Launched last September ( La Vie En Fleur September 5, 2008 )

Heart2Heart is always happy and proud to feature our good friend, Architect Gil Coscolluela. This is one of his most recent works…..
A beautiful house for our friends, Felix and Reggie, who are obviously very happy with the work of Gil
Felix and Reggie had prepared a dinner for our friends Gary and Frannie who are moving to Singapore. We missed the dinner and arrived for dessert and coffee/tea
I immediately took photos of the house and thanks to Felix and Reggie for sharing their beautiful home with Heart2Heart
This beautiful home comes with beautiful works of art…
Felix looked up the middle of the staircase and told me that just looking up is already a work of art and Gil did a great job building it…

I visited my cousin, Marga, in her beautiful store in Eastwood. I was very impressed with what I saw and amazed at how Marga and her husband Eugene have managed to grow their business. Dwell is a very big store and has a wide variety of choices for furniture at very reasonable prices. Do come and check it out!
Dwell is owned and operated by Marga and her husband, Eugene. I did not know Eugene had some interior decorating skills 🙂 Apparently, Marga told me that he did the layout and putting together of the furniture pieces in the store.
More power to you guys!!!
My beautiful cousin, Marga
They have another furniture store along Reposo st. in Bel Air 2, Makati
