I am so glad I brought my camera that evening even if Sonny declined my request to feature his place….As soon as I entered the house, I had to get my camera and insisted because it would be such a pity not to have shared a beautiful place.  Thank you to Sonny and Tootsy for inviting us to your beautiful home and allowing me to share it at Heart2Heart!  Every HOME has a HOME in Heart2Heart!

I was very happy to find out that their home was done by their sister and my friend, Anna.  It may not be a new house, but it was still beautiful and had so much character.  I hope to feature more of Anna’s work in the future.

And what an interesting collection of art pieces!

A few months ago, Heart2Heart featured Planet Sports in Power Plant Mall which was done by our good friend Gil.  Heart2Heart is even more proud now to feature Gil and the many works he has done.  From homes and condos to restaurants, retail stores and showrooms.  He even designs furniture now which he exports internationally.  Gil is so talented and very enterprising.  We have see his style evolve through the years and side from acquiring the artistic talent that runs in the family, Gil has developed his own style.  We have worked with him a few times and aside from being our good friend, we enjoy working with him because he is very flexible, we are very comfortable with him and he can work around your budget yet come out with a beautiful end result.

More power to you Gil!

Thank you David for sharing with us your new home!

I thought I was going to a Japanese Temple when I saw David’s house!  It is a huge and tall house and of course very beautiful!  Designed by George Yulo who also did Pepato.  There were many details in the house that were very prominent – the ceilings, the doors and the walls that had so much detail and layers.

David’s house was three years in the making and he told me it will be another year for him to finish the interiors and accessorize it.   So, this is just a sneak preview and hopefully there will be a part 2 …..

Tillie’s Garden

By | Homes and Interiors, Nature | One Comment

My good friend and neighbor, Tillie, will soon be renovating her house.  So I made sure that I invited myself over to take photos of her beautiful garden which I love so much. I like the animal figurines which she put all over the garden.  Whenever I see her garden from her cozy living room, I feel so happy and peaceful.

I was feeling so bad that it will soon be gone but I am sure she will have a more beautiful one when she has her new home

What a nice way to celebrate Christmas!  It was a nice, cozy and intimate get together at Rachelle’s home.  Rachelle told me that it is a tradition for her to host and  celebrate her birthday and Christmas every year with her friends.  I was fortunate to have been invited this year and discover Rachelle’s talent in interior design as she designed her own home.  I truly admire Rachelle and how talented she is and also how she put together her Christmas dinner.  Definitely she has a natural talent for creativity and putting things together.

Rachelle told me something beautiful when I told her I admired her talent:

” I hope when people see the talent, it’s really a gift from the One up there.  I am just sharing what He’s given me.”

Early Christmas party on Nov. 25, Tuesday.

It’s gonna be an Organic Christmas Party!

See you then!

Thank you to Tita Babot for sharing her beautiful home with Heart2Heart.  Tita Babot’s homes are so beautiful and cozy, neat and organized.    Everything is in proper order and no clutter around.

by-babot-joseph2.jpg

Tita Babot does all her gardens herself.  She buys the materials and plants needed herself and works with the gardener closely

by-babot-joseph1.jpg

by-babot-joseph4.jpg

Tita Babot is not an interior designer but she does everything herself.  This house was already built when they moved in, so she just fixed some details like the walls but everything else she did herself

My favorite part of the house!  What a nice cozy and charming kitchen! She even has her music playing in the kitchen!  The nook in the corner faces the pool.

My favorite kids room – looks like a room straight from a Pottery Barn catalog

And I just had to include the photo of their new family member that was hiding under the kitchen stove -ADORABLE!

Azuthai

Congratulations Jay and Malu on the opening of your latest creation,  Azuthai!

Thanks to our good friends Gary and Alexie for inviting us.  We immediately accepted the invitation because we were so excited to try it.

azuthai1.jpgazuthai2.jpgazuthai15.jpgazuthai13.jpg

Gary Coscolluela is the one responsible for the beautiful interiors of Azuthai.  We are always proud of our good friend who is so talented, yet always so humble and so kind.  The artistic talent definitely runs in the family of architects and interior designers.

Thanks to Jay and Malu for the desserts you gave us!  We were embarassed when you said you would give us one of each, so we only chose a few but then we realized later on that we finished all the desserts we ordered and could have probably finished everything on the list! 🙂 Heart2Heart’s favorite is the Mango with sticky rice!
