My friend, Ria, took me around to different home stores in the city.  One of them was the Conran Shop which I thought was American since I see these stores in the States but apparently it is British, though they have the most stores in Japan
 We went to their main store in Marylebone and photos are not allowed so I had to sneak these photos so bear with meÂ
They had a restaurant inside the store called Conran Kitchen! Love! Â We did not eat here but just love the design of the place

We were window shopping in Harrods in different departments and James sends me a photo of this lighting fixture which he knows I like!!  So I went to where he was to take a look
Then I saw more things which looked very familiar to me!! Â I liked the style
Apparently the designer is Timothy Oulton who is one of the artisans of the store Restoration Hardware which I love in the States!!  So it is a British designer behind many of the beautiful things at Restoration!
That was the bed section and we asked where the furniture was and so we went to the furniture section! Â NICE!!!

Love how they put the British flag and the flag colours on the design!  Can we have our local designers do this for the Philippines? 🙂

 This is one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen in the Philippines.  It has beautiful architecture and everything inside it is beautifully done with quality materials and furniture and accessories.  Another reason I love it is because it is Filipiniana. We are in the Philippines, we should build Philippine inspired homes and promote our very own.  This house is designed by Architect Manny Miñana who did such an amazing job!!!

Thank you Trish Panlilio for sharing your beautiful home at Heart2Heart!!  A women with taste and you will see this in every detail around her house.  There are many coffee table books around the house and you will also meet her constant companions, her dogs 🙂 Â
We went to visit the new Alphaland Makati Place mainly to go to a restaurant in the City Club. Â There is a Rustan’s Supermarket in the complex that is already openedÂ
We went to the City Club and they toured us around the place.  It is and exclusive club which is more members only.  Like Balesin, this place takes you to many different countries through the cuisine offerings and they have nice facilities that are all brand new and that are hardly used.  It’s very nice and peaceful at the moment and you have the facilities to use all to yourself.  I wish I were a member!Â

After our delicious merienda at NamNam, I took notice of the outside seating area of the restaurants in Greenbelt 2!  This has probably been in existence since it started but it’s only now I took notice of it.  As you walk down the row of restaurants, each place has a theme and with the theme comes different lighting 🙂  I love how each one has its own unique identityÂ
