Milk Kobo Dairy Farm

Milk Kobo is our favourite Dairy 🙂  We went to the dairy itself!  Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (41)Of course they have the complete line of everything they produce

Ice cream in many flavours!Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (44)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (43) The yogurt drink!  Yum Yum!Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (45)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (46) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (1)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (3) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (2)They have nice gift packs in different combinations!  Leave it to the Japanese to package them so beautifullyMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (5) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (6)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (7) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (8)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (9) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (10)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (11) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (12)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (13) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (14)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (15) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (16)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (17) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (18)Cheese Tart is cheaper here by 50 yen! 🙂  Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (19) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (20)Carmina bought some of this pudding and it was so good!!Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (21) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (22)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (23) Cream puff seems to be one of their bestsellers tooMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (24)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (4)Cream puffs Baking in the oven
Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (33)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (40) Kai tried one and she said the inside cream was super good but the outer  pastry was not that great.  I am guessing it was not a fresh piece.  Always make sure you eat them always freshly bakedMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (34)We signed up for ice cream making lessons.  It was 1,300 yen per person.  Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (25) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (26)No one there could speak English so they showed us this! haha!! 🙂  I have a feeling that in the summer they may have a tour of the dairy but since it was Winter, we were not able to tour the farm, the cows etc Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (27) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (29)Bonding while making ice cream 🙂  Just mix and mix and you have to help each other because one has to hold the bowl and one has to mix – it’s teamwork! 🙂Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (28) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (35)

And we all got a cup of the ice cream we made!  Strawberry ice cream!  Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (37) Next time maybe you can just buy the ice cream made! haha!!!  The ice cream making was just mixing 🙂  So with 1,300 yen maybe better to use it to buy and try the products being sold thereMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (36)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (32) With the 1,300 yen came the ice cream we made and another choice of ice cream – whether soft serve or in a cup or coneMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (30)YUM YUM YUM!!  Milk Kobo soft serveMilk Kobo Dairy Farm (38) The hoarder!  🙂Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (39)Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (31) Milk Kobo Dairy Farm (42)

Ki Niseko and Niseko Landmark View

By | Niseko | One Comment

One morning we explored two other hotels/serviced residences in the area.  Just like Vale and Shiki, the units are time shared.

The first one is Niseko Landmark which was recommended by our friends Barbee.  It is a very short walk from Shiki so we just turned left from the main street and walked all the way till we saw itKi and Landmark (7) Beautiful too 🙂  It has a nice view of the mountain and surrounded by trees.  It is a bit further away from the main village restaurants and stores but Hirafu is so small that everything is so near each other anywayKi and Landmark (1) We were not able to see any room because it was fully booked.  This was the lobbyKi and Landmark (2)Click below to go to their website

By | Niseko | No Comments

There are two beautiful bars in Niseko that we went to.  Since I do not drink :-O  I literally just took photos and left! 🙂 though a few stayed.  But truly they are very nice places to hang out in.  I can’t believe the energy the Nisekrew has but after dinner I am tired and the first to turn in ( and still the last to wake up in the morning 🙂 )

The Barn is actually a restaurant bar.  Beautiful glass frontage!  The Barn and Gyu Bar (7) The Barn and Gyu Bar (8) The Barn and Gyu Bar (9) The Barn and Gyu Bar (10) The Barn and Gyu Bar (1) The Barn and Gyu Bar (2) The Barn and Gyu Bar (3)
