Pasig River

By | Real Estate | One Comment

We were passing by the Pasig river one day and James and I were talking and saying what a pity it is that our Pasig River and the Guadalupe Bridge looks like this

pasig-river-2.JPG

When you go to other countries, this is prime real estate!  If you have property by the river, it will be very expensive land.  The bridges are usually so beautiful and are historic sights.

Welcome Dinner by Richard and Sasa

By | Real Estate, Travel | 4 Comments

When we arrived in Moscow, we immediately went to the flat of Richard and Sasa! Our gracious hosts in Moscow.

On the way to their place, we passed a very nice part of Moscow.  It’s one of the most expensive residential areas in the world, Ostozhenka/Golden Mile, according to the British Wealth-Bulletin Magazine.  If you think London is expensive, nothing beats this!  Around US$ 40,000.00 per square meter!

I also saw this very modern building called the Copper Housewelcome-dinner-by-richard-and-sasa-33.jpg

According to Sasa

Richard and Sasa Smith!!!  Such a wonderful couple!!!  We fell in love with them the day we met them! 🙂  Richard is an American with Filipino ways!  He’s probably even nicer than a Filipino!  ( haha just exaggerating ) He is super funny, super down to earth, super nice, super helpful and super everything! 🙂  Sasa is the same and they took care of us the whole time!  I was looking at Sasa as she looked familiar and then found out she is the sister of a friend, Jorge Lichauco.  Both so nice

The door of their condo is like a vault! It has double doors 🙂  This is giving me ideas 🙂

Philippine Property Awards: Arya Residences

By | Proud to be Pinoy!, Real Estate | No Comments

I featured my cousin Ela a few months back.

Previous entry: Arya Residences by Arthaland May 12, 2013

She got plenty inquiries on Arya and asked me to post again 🙂  She is very proud and enthusiastic about what she is selling and I am so happy to help her! From Ela

I am so proud of this project and i’m really trying to sell as much since this project is currently the BEST DEVELOPMENT in the Philippines as of today. I attached the most recent awards which we won in the Philippines Property Awards 2013. There has been a big increase in sales for investing in our development. Especially since expats can’t own property they need a place (large cut usually 2BR) to rent out. Tower 2, the oval shaped one which is really beautiful because of the panoramic view, will be turned over January 2016. Being the first green residential building, investors are keeping a keen eye on developments like ours. Plus with our location and BGC’s developments, by 2016 there is going to be a great demand for expats looking for large cuts to rent out.

West Side Highway

By | Real Estate, Travel | No Comments

Driving down from New Jersey back to Manhattan, our driver passed the West Side Highway and I am glad I was able to capture some interesting buildings.  It was a nice drive seeing all these structures.  I later on told Jerome about it and I asked his help to tell me what buildings they were

An apartment complex on Riverside Boulevard in the Upper West Side that Donald Trump and a few others developed for Luxury Condo sales and rentals

100 11th Avenue (a luxury apartment building designed by French starchitect, Jean Novel) on the left and the IAC headquarters on the right (designed by another starchitect, Frank Gehry).

The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking district. It’s notorious because of the big and very transparent windows that have provided many free peep shows to any passerby.

The James Hotel in Soho.  It has a nice rooftop bar

west-side-highway-7.JPG

The Perry Street Towers designed by Starchitect, Richard Meier.  Jean Georges Vongerichten, Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman all have units here.  It also houses Jean Georges’ restaurant- Perry Street

Arya Residences by Arthaland

By | Homes and Interiors, Real Estate | 2 Comments

I was so happy to be invited by my younger cousin, Ela!  She is among the younger generation of cousins already and it’s amazing how their generation has grown so fast and they are now working and starting out their careers.  Ela told me that she is into real estate and is now a sales associate of Arya Residences by Arthaland.  She took me around their showroom in Bonifacio Global City

arya-residences-by-arthaland-64.jpgarya-residences-by-arthaland-5.JPGarya-residences-by-arthaland-2.jpg

Ela explained to me about the direction of the wind and the wind tunnels they created in this development for proper circulation and ventilation

We looked outside to see the development and you can see one building almost finished already and the next one coming up

arya-residences-by-arthaland-4.JPG9183953.jpg

What I like about the development the most is the GREEN factor in it.  It’s the first LEED residential condo in the country and I wish others would follow

She took me to the showroom which I have not seen since the first time i was there and they were selling the first tower.  The designs were different back then.  Ela said that they hired the best space planners in the country – Periquet and Galicia, which is why even if the one bedroom is only 66 square meters, it did not feel like it at all
