STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN STO-001 HIGHLIGHTS OF STOCKHOLM

Duration: 2.50 Hrs Tour

Date: July 12, 2017 08:30 AM

Dramatically situated at the point where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea, Stockholm was founded as a fortress in the mid-13th century. Over time, the fortress attracted a populace living outside its walls, and the town eventually spread over more than a dozen islands and onto the mainland. Today, the capital of Sweden encompasses five unique city districts, each with its own special character.

This panoramic tour allows you to view Stockholm’s most notable landmarks from the comfort of your coach. Enjoy a drive around Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s medieval Old Town, past the dignified Royal Palace and by the charming inner harbor. Another highlight is the Royal Dramatic Theater, which you will see along Strandvägen, one of the city’s finest streets, as you proceed to the verdant island of Djurgården, once a royal hunting preserve. Following your tour of the city, you’ll transfer directly back to the pier.

Olde Hansa

By | Regent Seven Seas Explorer | No Comments

As recommended by our tour guide, we had lunch at Olde Hansa which is a Medieval restaurant.  It was very interesting. It was dark inside with candles all over which was how it was doing the Medieval times.   We decided to eat outside haha!! #oldehansa #oldehansatallinn #Tallin#Estonia #Regent25#regentsevenseasexplorer#h2hssexplorer2017Olde Hansa (13) Olde Hansa (14) Olde Hansa (18) Olde Hansa (15) Olde Hansa (16) Olde Hansa (17) Olde Hansa (22) Olde Hansa (20) Olde Hansa (21) Olde Hansa (19) Olde Hansa (23) Olde Hansa (26) Olde Hansa (24) Olde Hansa (29)Olde Hansa (25)Olde Hansa (28)Olde Hansa (2)Olde Hansa (3)Olde Hansa (4)Olde Hansa (30) Olde Hansa (5) Mushroom soup which was under the bread plate 🙂  Olde Hansa (1)Olde Hansa (8) Olde Hansa (7)Olde Hansa (6)Medieval food at @olde_hansa Game sausages made out of wild boar, elk and bear Olde Hansa (31)  Himalayan Lamb #oldehansa#oldehansatallinn #Tallin #Estonia#Regent25 #regentsevenseasexplorer#h2hssexplorer2017 #h2hlambOlde Hansa (32) Wild Boar  Olde Hansa (33)   Divine Leg of Pork Olde Hansa (34)

Captain and Crew’s Farewell

By | Regent Seven Seas Explorer | No Comments

Captain and Crew’s Farewell show on board the #regentsevenseasexplorer @regentcruises

What a nice way to give credit to the crew who work so hard to make everything perfect for the guests on the ship. Without them there would be no memorable experience on the ship 🙂

Majority of the crew of #regentsevenseasexplorer @regentcruises are Filipinos and they are the best!  We made sure we watched the show to support our fellow kababayans and cheer for them. Ofcourse Pinoys are great performers and we are so proud of them and love them #Regent25#regentcruises #h2hssexplorer2017#h2hentertainmentCaptain and Crew's Farewell (4) Captain and Crew's Farewell (3) Captain and Crew's Farewell (2) Captain and Crew's Farewell (5)Captain and Crew's Farewell (6)
